Quite surprised at the weight difference between the Nike Vapor Pro clay and all-court edition.
Nike Vapor Pro size 12/EU 46 all-court edition come in at 410g / 14.5oz whereas the clay sole edition are 440g / 15.5oz.
The sole doesn't look much different to be honest. Different cushioning?
TW lists them as same weight...

Just did a weight comparison of my own thinking this statement was crazy--taking them out the box i could feel a weight difference right away. My HC Vapor Pros (same size US12/46EU) were 404g while my clay court versions were 437g. Uppers appear identical and even the midsoles and such--perhaps the clay sole they use is pre-fabbed at some heavier spec for some reason?

Yup, got them in EU. One clay version, one regular, both in bad ass black. Great looking shoes and nice fitting. Just odd about the weight difference.

I would suspect that the clay version may have slightly more cushioning since the shoe should last longer and more sole material because it should be all herringbone.

It's possible that the softer more rubbery sole simply weighs more due to material density, as well as the possibility of more sole material overall.

Slightly annoying because a lightweight shoe is all of a sudden no longer a lightweight shoe.
At minimum Nike and the retailers should specify this. @TWE Staff lists both editions as same weight.
I have Speed FF2s and they are 375g 13.2oz... Gel 8s 448g 15.8oz.

Because every additional gram is more important than working on your legs strength, and overall conditioning.

Don't forget how the weight of your racquet goes down as you string tighter because the string stretches more.

Soles made for clay and soles made for hardcourt are obviously going to be made of different compounds
