Vapor 9.5 - Medium (great compromise for slightly wide feet, but gone..)
Vapor X - Narrow
Cage 3 - Narrow
Ultra React - Medium at most

Everyone with slightly wide feet have to resort to other brands.. Nike wtf are you doing?!

And give us at least some solid black Vapor X's in a wide fit with normal and clay soles!
That's why I bought Cage 2 instead if Cage 3.. I have wide feet as well... CB 4.3 were for wide as well, amazing shoes

So the general consensus is order half a size up?

I have wide feet... I wore size 11 in the 9.5s and fit perfectly. In the X, the same size was uncomfortably tight. I half-sized up, it was snug but fit much better. After about 30 minutes of court time, the shoe felt fine and I wear the Nike dri-fit cushioned socks which are not super thick but well-cushioned for playing 2+ hours on court.

Just got my Xs. Coming straight from the 9.5s I can first say that these leases are extremely short. Like, what the hell was Nike thinking?9.5’s laces were kind of long and got shaved up after a while but I definitely prefer those over the X’s. I’m really struggling to cinch down the tongue at all, something seems stuck. Does anyone have a solution?

Yeah laces are short but I don't use the top hole so they work for me. Never used top hole on 9.5's either. Can always change them out.

I have a high instep so that's why I don't use top hole but I get 'em nice and snug without and there's no tongue movement at all.

Yep. Just got my 2nd pair (didn't want to snooze/lose on the grey/red that just came out - the 1st pair are still in incredible shape) and went 1/2 up. Just walking around they feel much better. Not too snug, not too big.
I was wearing Vapors 9/9.5 in size 11 and the sizing was perfect, in every sense. Also, before that, all previous Vapors 8/7/6/5 were of the same size. Now, I got recently Vapors X (both BRED and Air Max models) in the same size. They both fit like a glove, but I cannot escape the feeling that 1/2 size up would be a perfect deal...

So, I completely agree with the Ace.

God I hate that. I bought some of the new Kevin Durant's, and I could barely tie the shoe.

What I really don‘t get is why the toebox is slightly bigger in the clay version. This is the case for the 9.5 as well as X. Same size of course.

Just ordered a pair of X because they were on sale for $105, I've worn 9.5 tour until I stopped playing a few year ago. Hopefully it'll be ok, if not I'll just return it and buy a pair of 9.5 tour for $110 :(

Probably between 20 - 30 hours singles on the X's now. Looking at the sole today - I just can't believe how much they have held up. Full tread pattern looking good. Wear zones look less plastic-y - like a softer rubber, but I'm amazed at how well they have held up thus far. They are not comfortable like previous iterations (no plushness here) but they are very solid for active play. Lock down on top probably best feature as far as playing goes. I hated these by the looks of them, but I'm glad to be wrong about this product.

They're not as comfortable off the bat as the Vapors, but they're great once broken in.

I'll probably go back down to my normal size when I order another pair.

I ditched the X’s. After about a month of playing in them my knees are killing me. A buddy noticed they caused my ankles to severely probate.

Now wearing K Swiss Hypercourt Express

My Granddaddy left me a Pure Drive; now the store he got it from wants me to pay $50 for his last string job - I've tried hitting with it a bit, but every time I can feel the probate mounting all up and down my arm; it's gonna take a lot more 'will power' to keep using it...

And this has to do with Vapor X's how exactly?

It was a joke on the original "probate" typo from Rabbit.

@mpournaras, and again for emphasis, my KNEES are killing me! they were perfectly fine before the X's.

It wont be as light or stylish but the Asics Gel Resolutions seem to handle knee pain and pronation exceptionally well. It was an easy sale in my shop for most if not all customers who had it. The one issue was if your feet are super wide. But then we brought in the Gel Resolution "wide" and lapped them up too.

My bad!!!! :)

I'm in the K-Swiss Hypercourt Express now. So far, so good....and my knees are improving :)

Got my X, they fit just fine, maybe a tiny bit narrower than the 9.5 tours, but I like it better for now. Will see how it feels on the court

French Open Clay Vapor X

I first saw this a few months ago maybe, but the tweet listed it as colorways for women's shoe by mistake. Good thing too, because I really like the color way and maybe wanted to buy a pair. It mostly depends on the fit for me. I don't burn through shoes, so the durability shouldn't be as big a problem..this is assuming they also come in hard court outsole, which I assume they would.

So after sending back my Cage 3s due to a crack on the sole, decided to try the Vapor X, went true to size, and they fit, feel, play like a dream.
Im a huge sneaker head and actally think they look as good on the foot as anything else i own too!
The shoes silhouette just works! absolutely love this shoe!

@luke_1983uk.. Can I know the cause of crack of your Cage 3 ?

I read the other topic post , probably the factory flaw.. So far I decided to stay with my Vapor 9.5 Tour that I thought the best fit for my foot.

genuine no idea, but both shoes had it, and it was a thick crack, almost glass like, thought the cages were incredible until trying these on, personal preference but these top the 9.5's easily, in cages i went up a size i had too! these i dropped down to my normal size the same size as the 9.5's.
comfort wise these are untouchable! found myself wearing them more and more off court too!

Has anyone else had issues with overpronation with the Vapor X? I ordered a pair but ended up returning them because it felt like the sole was tilted toward the inner heel, causing my foot to roll inwards. It seems like a bizarre design from Nike...just wondering if this is something others have noticed, or if it's maybe just a fluke with the pair I received.

It seems like a design/performance decision... I believe other Nike designs have had a slight tilt inwards.

You are right. Very annoying. Huge flaw

Very interesting...any idea what the purpose of that design is?
For stability on medial sliding... makes it just that much harder to roll your ankle on a slide out wide then if it were straight up and down. I've had no issues with the slant. But each person is different.
