nike warranty question

when you wear through the cb's and get a voucher card for another pair of shoes, do those shoes come with another warranty? i have used the warranty with addidas, but i heard nike just sends you a gift card.

no they don't. you get a gift card to do with however you want on nike.com. you can buy a couple shirts or some other shoes if you want, but they never come with another warranty, that would be stupid

Might anyone know what the approximate turnaround time from Nike on a warranty issue is? Essentially, I send the shoes back to Nike (with necessary documentation) on the first of the month, approximately how long would it take to receive my voucher? I have a backup pair, but I probably can't roll 4-6 weeks with them (they're about to wear through too).

Here is an estimation of processing.
3-5 days to send your shoes to Nike.
If you claimed your warranty claim number which has bar code, I think the process takes quicker ( one day to process/approve). Otherwise it might take 1-3 days.
As soon as your shoes granted for the warranty.
1-2 days to print the voucher and preparing for mail.
3-5 days to receive your voucher.
Basically entire process takes around 10 days.

The turnaround time varies just like anything else. From my experience in the past, they were able to send me a replacement pair of shoes within 7-10 business days. However, if they have to send you a product voucher instead, because they couldn't send you a replacement, it will take a lot longer.

As I noted earlier, everyone's experience varies...

I thought Nike sends vouchers for everyone who claimed warranty
I always received vouchers. Never received replacement shoes from nike.
Also Nike warranty processing times are quicker nowadays since they moved to Memphis.

Thanks very much for the insight!

My experience with them was 6-7 years ago, I'm sure a lot has changed. Especially since, online transaction was not an every day routine like it is now. Heck...we were still using flip phones lol

Speaking of the warranty card (and the original box) -- I don't have either. Is it permissible to print off a copy for use from a photo online?

Regarding the original box -- is that required?

I did print my emailed receipt from the purchase to send back (along with the card) with the shoes.

The original box is not required. The warranty card might be.

I just sent back 3 pairs of shoes, all three of which were approved in about 2-3 days. Haven't received the vouchers yet though.

5-6 months ago I mailed back a pair of shoes in an inside out shoe box and it got lost on the loading dock for 3 weeks before i called them about it, which they then fixed the next day.

Let's take this a step further -

Say I send in my courtballistec's because the air pocket blows out. They agree to send a new pair. Will that pair contain a new warranty card for the outsole since the 1st pair was returned off a manufacturer defect? Or would that return count towards a 1 time replacement?

I'm not trying to sound like a cheap*****, I've just always wondered.

If the air bubble pops out they might replace the shoe under manufacturer's defect. Later on you could probably claim the sole warranty as well, why not?
