What really bothers me is that she is the only Nike tennis athlete to get this treatment ever. Even McEnroe and Agassi, arguably their two most iconic, never get 1/4th of the sig gear she gets even on the challenge court themed drops. If this was sinner I’d be equally as pissed off for the record… probably more pisses tbh at least Osaka has 4 majors (only two in Nike gear???)

I really hope Naomi Osaka retires and never return again, as well as her personal cr@p stuff that Nike is releasing every week...
I think the moral of the story is that Naomi must have the best agent in all of pro tennis.

It’s not the agent. She just had huge potential on US and Japanese market, just like Raducanu in UK and China. I believe Emma would get her stuff too if she managed to win 1-2 more Slams.

i am jealous of all of you playing on HC i guess? I am a clay player and in search of this shoe for over a year. I would wear the most stupid color if i could buy a clay version at all but no luck yet :/. Its the single best shoe i've ever had (by a long shot) and i am not willig to switch to a different one, period. Luckily that shoe does hold up very well on clay and i am able to finish the summer season with this shoe for sure but damn, i need a new pair next year at latest. Do you think the upcoming 2024 version will have a clay version as well? They are so fricking rare if not discontinued at all, its just sad. I would import a new pair of shoe for 200$+ if necessary but even that seems impossible.
I guess the new version should include mens and womens sizing and in general Nike offers both soles so keeping fingers crossed.

The colors and textures work for me (much more in this palette than the orange), but it would be a very clean design if they just let the ivory breathe a little.

I wouldn't say is the best colorway of the gp turbo, but it is definitely not the worst. I'm just happy to have another option to buy. Don't really care what I look like on the court as long as the shoes keep coming.

Snagged the blue / pink pair for $105 this wkend - I think the new GP has a ton of promise, but as a wide footer I know Nike can pivot to a narrow last at any point, so for that reason really going to keep the turbo supply at a place where I can bank on still using it for the next 5 years at least

The women’s size 13 are the exact same fit as the men’s size 11.5. I am the same shoe size.

Got it - TW doesn't have any in size 13 women's - is this shoe really that much better than Nike's other offerings (ie Vapor 11 or Vapor Pro 2)? Don't want to spend a lot on other sneaker websites (found my size for ~$200) if it's only marginally better at best.

The Nike website had a couple colors available in size 11.5/13, but they might be out of stock now. For me the Vapors don’t even come close in terms of comfort.

It's the Osaka women's version - I took some baby blue acrylic paint to the hot pink swoosh, heel, midfoot counter to make it more cohesive with the rest of the blue colorway

these ran about $100 for me. I guess pretty good given the GP price tag is now up to $160 for new

I don't think i've ever seen them as low as $70. Maybe if you have an odd size you can get them on clearance. Right now on TW US there are a few different prices for different colors. The cheapest is the NY design but the sizes are very limited.
