Let me guess… coming soon, in women’s sizes. You’d think with how fast the men’s sizes sold out in the last colorways, they would take a hint.

Those are quite nice and would complement my winter gear really well. It's all navy with dark and mint greens.

Let's hope for some large women's sizes (or men's equivalents)!

After seeing the new colorways for the GP Challenges, I thought that she was going to switch to the new model. This new colorway gives me hope that I can still get some new Turbos.

I saw her wearing the new GP Challenges, so it’s not looking hopeful…

Stock up now boys

Just finally wore through my Dark Raisin pair, I got 25 wears out of them.

Only nine pairs left to go

I’ve got about 20 pairs in the closet. Trying to wear them down as much as I can before throwing each one out, knowing they might never come back again.

20? I thought I had a problem. lol

I have two other pairs that are approaching that 20-match mark. I'll be down to six pairs by the end of the year.

It’s an even bigger problem than I thought. I have 31 pairs, including the ones that I have opened and been rotating through. I would say they last me 2-3 months. So I should be good for a while. It’s the only shoe I’ve ever worn that doesn’t give me foot or knee pain, so I started to hoard when I found out they were going to be discontinued. Maybe they will bring them back at some point.

When I wear out my current pair, I've thought about cutting out the zoom air unit and attaching them to some insoles to see if I can wear them w/ other shoes.

For me the lacing mechanism in the GP turbos is far more stable than any other shoe I’ve tried. Have any of you found anything comparable in a different shoe?

Nope. Haha.

I think that may be an advantage of the relatively soft upper. Can really pull it into place and support the parts of your foot that need it (in my case, right arch)

Dang. Thought I was a hoarder with my 7 pairs.

How did it go?

Pretty good, I just slide them under the insole (see here click around to see the extraction), wore them for years until they turned into work shoes then they got wrecked. Still have the air units though!

Wish they would sell liners with Zoom air, there are some fake looking things on big auction site, additionally there are a few Nike basketball shoes that had liners with Zoom embedded in them rather than the sole, but would prob have to buy the whole shoe to get them.

I've been playing in GP turbos, but they're going to be nearly impossible to get at some point. I was thinking about cutting out the full length zoom air unit, but you can buy them on the bay for less than $20. Just stuck some into my Hokas to walk around in (over my carbon arch supports, under the Hoka insoles):
GP turbo Hokas!

I'm going to use them in all my shoes.

I actually like Mizunos more for tennis, but I couldn't get over the cushioning in the GP turbos. Now I can have the best of both worlds.

Women's gp turbo is not the same, cushioning is not as good. speaking from experience

I check them once in a while on e bay, I was able to get 2 pairs of women size 11 today for less than $100 each, theres are still a few for sale now. Must have been an outlet release going on.

On my last pair now. I'm done with them and ready to move on. Probably had 20 pairs in total. All whites including the white yellow us open 2021s. what a ride. but looking forward to a change and something a bit more light/nimble. thinking vapor pro 2s.

Still have two new NO edition pairs. But I am starting to look out for potential replacements - I really like the fit and the bouncy-ness/energy return of the sole, very nice on the feet.
Keen to see what you end up with!

I'd suggest testing out the NB CT Rally. They're horrible out of the box and take a long time to break in, but worth it.

I'm resigned to buying Osaka's w flowers on them. My son actually prefers them to the bright green ones. Those are the only two color ways in size 13. Still the best shoe available, in terms of cushioning. Waiting for Hoka to get into tennis.

Same! Just picked up a pair of the coconut milk with the flowers (Tiafoe AO 2023). I have about 3 months left in my Challenge Court color.

I stopped wearing my pair. The pillowy responsiveness is second to none, but I was starting to have knee stability issues when worn to play competitively. Switched to Asics Court FF and problem gone.

My old GPTs don't get mushy; they feel like they've lost their cushion after the foam compresses. When I put on a new pair they feel like pillows.

I got a pair of new balances w fresh foam for the trail, and they are better than hokas. I subsequently bought a pair of the tennis shoes w fresh foam, hoping for the same level of cushion. I was disappointed yet again. I hope the shoe companies start realizing that max cushion is good for our bodies and what we want. It hasn't trickled down to tennis, except for the GPT.

I’ve tried Nike vapor, ASICS, new balance and mizuno, they are not as good as the GPT when it comes to comfort. Anyone know where I can pick up a pair?

Just tore my second calf on old pairs of these.

Anyone still using these make sure to change them up when they get mushy.

Bro

I just tore my calf after playing in old clay Vapors. Literally feel your pain

Also, do you know how many hours/wears are on them? I put a primitive day marker on the box every time I play in them. So far it looks like I rip through the uppers on the toe at around 25 matches.

Too much softness isn't good for tennis

Our shoes need to be stiffer than running shoes

It's like having a soft seat in a racing car...not gonna work

Yep bought a pair of Nike super light cushion running shoes which was great for my hip bursitis but terrible on court. No lateral support at all.

Too many hours. Once they start making noise, when you start feeling new pains, I wouldn't use them anymore.

Have been looking for new shoes for the last few weeks but haven't been finding anything that fits and doesn't have uncomfortable plastics...

Court ff3 and GP Challenge 1 didn't work out

If cushioning is very important to you and durability and costs not an issue, I would suggest trying Lacoste AG-LT23. More than sufficient cushioning and not heavy or bulky as well (court ff3). Having said that, the feel is not similar to Nike GPT or New Balance lav. But comfort wise is on par with Lav. Cannot tell for GPT as I have not worn it for matches.
