It's possible but if they are true custom orthotics, you can have them make them thin under the toes. Most orthotics focus on the arch. The shoes are so "cushiony" that you easily wear them without the stock foam insole.....which is reasonably thick, btw.I imagine with orthotics this space would be even smaller so unfortunately these shoes are a no-no for me...
The custom orthotics are made according to your needs,So unfortunately you don't have the choice to make alterations. The stock insole is always removed so that you can insert your custom ones.If I understood what you said...It's possible but if they are true custom orthotics, you can have them make them thin under the toes. I'm also struggling to get past the uglinessThey look Pretty ugly.
The colours aren't as problematic as the 'paddle wheel' element, and the inherent - to me at least - chunkiness needed, I guess, to accommodate all that padding.
Anyone can share a picture wearing them? Especially the Agassi ones?
They look amazing. Thanks for sharing. Shame they are tight.Just got these in last week. These are my favorite colorway thus far.
Coming from Vapor Xs (that fit my feet pretty much spot-on), these feel extremely tight in the toe box even when I went a half size up from my usual Vapors (11.5 from 11). When playing, it’s not that noticeable, but I won’t be able to wear these off-court due to the pressing on the toes. I have to go traight to my oofos after playing.
Also felt slight ankle instability off aggressive moves. I’ll probably go back to Vapors after this pair, but dang these look pretty sweet.

I have 2 pairs and agree with kvan's assessment. Most of my issues with the shoe fade away during play and they perform pretty well (except they have horrible ventilation). I just will never wear them to or from the court, they go on and off immediately bc of the tightness.
I don't have any instability issues but I also replaced the laces with 49" ones so I could more easily heel lock them as the stock ones are a little short to do so.
Yeah good call. May have to look into replacing the laces although I never had issues with Vapor laces (those are insanely short). Different shoe though, so I guess it’s apples and oranges.
Oh, and yup I agree these run pretty warm.
Who's got em, how do they fit, what's the verdict?

too white. it will get dirty too fastJust got these in last week. These are my favorite colorway thus far.

its in middle of the road. It's not the stickest but not slickiest either. Good blend of both. if you want super sticky shoes, Yonex eclipsion is probably very good one. anyway, if the sole is too sticky, it's asking for problems on the direction changes.how are the grips on these? are they considered sticky? trying to find the most sticky shoes..

Are you going to be switching to these as your full time show? What would be your tournament shoe?So originally i was really turned off by the weight of the shoes 16.2 OZ. but when i tried it on, i was very surprised. Static weight did feel heavy, but when walking and playing in it, it feels very light. Very weird feeling, i know. Right out of the box, this is the most Comfortable feeling shoes i have ever worn, and very bouncy and like walking on pillows with spring on it. I think that is what gives you that feeling that shoe is very light and easy to run in.
You have to buy 1/2 size bigger. I would not wear it to play tournaments in but i would wear it for practice and jogging.

I'll wait for version 2 when they decide to fix that narrow and tight toe box .
So they're even narrower than Eclipsion 2 then?
I like my shoes how I like my women.

LOL those socks. What brand are they?
Injinji, mid-weight running socksLOL those socks. What brand are they?
I have the opposite problem.I wear orthotics which are very thick and bulky!I replaced the insole with a thinner one from my Hoka running shoes, and it worked like MAGIC! Helps to lighten the shoes by quite a bit too!
Tennis moon boots! Ha! Yeah, was my initial reaction, too. But I've grown accustomed to that feeling and I move confidently in them. I don't think about it much anymore. Just got a pair fo Vapor Pros (men's 9.5, but men's 10 in GPs). Now these are paper thin! But I'm excited to try them on the court anyway.Just got my white and black and concur that the comfort of this shoe is next level! Stayed with my normal size 12 for my narrow foot and fit is perfect. Feels like a pair of tennis moon boots.
They're not as fast feeling as my FF2s, but I may have to switch...The comfort is just too good.
Anyone used these for coaching? And if so, how long have they lasted? I tried them on and they're super comfortable, but I'm worried the soles will wear out super quickly.
