What's the gusset do? Just keep the tongue in place?

If you really want the GT Turbo cushion, try the new Luka 5 basketball shoes. Thet have the same full length zoom strobel, and good herringbone pattern on the outsole. It's not expensive either.

Pretty much but that’s helped with a slightly more secure feeling fit with the tongue not sliding around

Just got my women’s 1.5 def still feels the same as the men’s in comparable size and width

Have switched from GP Challenge to ST Flare, but the Luka 5 looks good in detail.

it's so interesting, the GPC1 was evolving into the 1.5 gradually
my navy blue 1s (I believe last color before 1.5) is like a GP Challenge 1.25
the traction is more slick for sliding, the fit is a little less tight around the laces, has the last lace loop removed into a grommet. so unusual

Women’s one is def a little narrower and heel collar is lower. Feels a little like my foot will pop out. I think they’ll be fine to coach in but I’m not sure I’ll play in them
