G.O.A.T.
Looks like Nike's new base model tennis shoe. MSRP is $80 USD.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I saw that cut out on the lateral side of forefoot. Also, the toe down view has some of that magik.Getting real ATC4 vibes here.
Credit to Seth for pointing it out
I’d actually wear these, granted they’d last me only a week.
Will any serious player really play in these?Nobody has tried these yet?![]()
Usually with take-down or budget models, there will be at least a small group of players who will actually prefer to the flagships. Sometimes your foot shape just HAPPENS to be a perfect match or something. I think @Tranqville had great experiences with the Solematch Control for example. There are also people here that prefer the VP2 over the V11.Will any serious player really play in these?
I think most of the people here prefer VP2 over the V11 which is absolutely sensible. But the VP2 is by no means a budget model like the Vapor Lite which looks like a pair of leisure walking shoes to meUsually with take-down or budget models, there will be at least a small group of players who will actually prefer to the flagships. Thats cool but my whole point is that just because something is a takedown/budget model doesn't mean that there are people out there that will prefer even if they CAN afford higher-end options. @Robert F said he used to prefer the Air Zoom Prestige over the (supposedly) GOAT shoe of a vapor 9.5I think most of the people here prefer VP2 over the V11 which is absolutely sensible. Foot Doc Zach liked the new Solematch Controls quite a bit btw (basically he felt they were like a takedown Solecourt Boosts), Zverev is using the Defiant Speed 2's which are reworked Uber 4s so yeah... in so far as they are older technology with a new name/design then some of them can be quite goodUsually with take-down or budget models, there will be at least a small group of players who will actually prefer to the flagships. Yep, the Presitge was just a great fit on my foot compared to the Vapors Vapors clearly made of better materials for the upper and top of the shoe.Thats cool but my whole point is that just because something is a takedown/budget model doesn't mean that there are people out there that will prefer even if they CAN afford higher-end options. @Robert F said he used to prefer the Air Zoom Prestige over the (supposedly) GOAT shoe of a vapor 9.5
Also Gasquet prefered previous generation Challengers over (at-the-time) current generation Gel Resolutions when he was with Asics.
I saw that! I would be all over it if it wasn't for the heel slippageFoot Doc Zach liked the new Solematch Controls quite a bit
If I get these they will be as close as air challenge I’ll get lol. !@$! you Nike!
Leather on a takedown model is like accompanying my Big Mac with a 1980s Bordeaux; a slightly discomforting, ghetto-superstar mixture of both snobby/uppity high culture and dirty/filthy low culture that I can get behind
This a takedown of which model? I'm not very familiar with nike offerings...Leather on a takedown model is like accompanying my Big Mac with a 1980s Bordeaux; a slightly discomforting, ghetto-superstar mixture of both snobby/uppity high culture and dirty/filthy low culture that I can get behind![]()
I should have said "budget" model instead, as this isn't a takedown of anythingThis a takedown of which model? I'm not very familiar with nike offerings...
I think I might get these for the gym, pretty solid silhouette
Are you still using the Lacostes? Looks like these are the last batches as there already are photos of the AG-LT25 Lites out there, meaning the Ultras will follow!I think I might get these for the gym, pretty solid silhouette
That's why I couldn't find any more stock haha makes sense! I just went through my last 2 pairs. I hope the 25s have a bit more durability on the outsole, but really dont want them to change much that shoe was nearly perfect in all other categories. Are you still using the Lacostes?
