NikeCourt Zoom GP Challenge 1

LOL - Nike Australia (website/app) does not carry Zoom GP Challenge 1s anymore.. how ridiculous is that? One of the grand slam countries and they dont bother selling them anymore? (granted if you buy it, it'd be delivered from Europe anyway,,,,)

looks like i have to look else where :rolleyes:

The racer blue/black yellow GP Challenge 1's are back at Nike AU but only limited sizes left

the red looks cool - Nike AU is still pretty much cr@p with GP C1 (colour) options. it is embarrassing.. lol
 
I think I am going to stick with GP Challenge 1 now after having been a Vapor wearer for a little while. Started with the Vapor X, then the 9.5 re-issue, and finally the Vapor 12, however I think at my age of 39 now, my lower legs seem to prefer the Challenge 1's. I do miss the almost barefoot-like feel of the Vapors, but I think that subconsciously the comfort of the Challenge 1 means I am less lazy to move now, even if that movement isn't as precise feeling as a Vapor.

He's actually wearing orange in the press photos. The mango is the current GPC1 USO colorway that TW and NDC are selling.

I'd expect this lava colorway to be later in the year b/c the V12 is also supposed to get this colorway.
 
Something I don't understand is why in the US it seems like there is no clay version of the GP Challenge 1 offered. I ordered several pairs from Europe and they work significantly better for me on Har-Tru. But unfortunately with the de minimis changes on August 29, ordering things from Europe has become significantly more difficult. I wish Nike US would offer them here.

EDIT: other models like the Vapor 12, Vapor Pro 3, and even the takedown GP Challenge Pro have clay models offered in the US, but for some reason the 1's do not haha. Strange.
 
There’s no indication that Naomi’s shoes has no custom right? Like no Zoom Zero or GP Turbo outsole, mold, etc? I know it’s custom but looks close to retail

Yes, looking at them carefully it seems that only the color, not available, is different from the ones on sale; only the ones with the spicy red color are on sale, which seem identical to the ones worn at the US Open, also the sole.

No, I do know the colorways (custom too) are PE but overal the shoe do look like retail. I’d have thought she gotten the Nike special treatment where she’d have made her custom shoe look like the GPC1
