In my opinion…yes. Great shoe!Is this still the most comfortable shoe? People used to suggest gel resolutions but I never found those even close the the turbos
They run short, which is odd because typically size issues come from width but my big toe was right against the front of the shoe, had to go up 1/2 size. Ultimately didn't like them and returned them. How do these fit? I wear an 10.5 in Zoom Cage 4s but an 11 in other Nike models.
Yeah, feels like finally a honest review from Tennis Spin.
The coach is wearing Nike Vomero running sneakers.

this shoes had some bad reviews on TW. is this shoe not a good shoes ?

is the cushioning just as good as the GT turbo ?Part of those reviews convinced me to go half a size up. The other bad review forewarns the HC sliders.
Right now, they will be my casual shoe. they won't be my on court shoes prob later in the summer.
BTW, I did a thing. If you go with your usual size, you'll end up with a (snug) performance fit. I ended up going a half size up for more room all around, even in my orthotics. I'd say these shoes are a generous medium if you go that route.

These are solid shoes if you want something with a lot of cushion. I've never tried the CT Rally but these have a nice lively, springy feel to them as is to be expected with Nike's zoom setup. Sizing is an issue. They definitely run short, in my TTS (10) my big toes were pressed up against the shoe, so I tried a half size up (10.5) and the length felt good but the rest of the shoe's sizing felt a little too big and loose to my preferences. The shoe doesn't have great containment to begin and the half size up just made for a sloppy fit I personally didn't like, but who knows how your experience would go. I was able to remedy this a bit by buying a women's pair in a size 12W/10.5M and the fit was much better as a last used for women's shoe is going to be overall smaller than a men's.I really want to buy these shoes but reviews are really mixed or lukewarm at best.
Wondwe how are these compare to New Balance CT Rally
i used to have GP turbo and that shoe after about 2 months or so, the cushioning starts to make Squeeky kind of noise when walking... I wonder if this new model does the same thing ?? its kind of annoying when wearing it for casual purposes. On the court playing, its not really noticeableThese are solid shoes if you want something with a lot of cushion. I will reiterate that they definitely run short length wise, and the outsole extends up to the front of the shoe so you can definitely feel that ultra hard piece of outsole, which can be a little uncomfortable. I'd give them like a C+, great cushioning and outsole is durable but the shoe is not suited to my play style. I feel like the shoe has issues with support and containment and you sit on top of the midsole rather than being lower and more connected to the ground, so the shoe lacks that feeling of being totally connected to your foot when you are running around.
Thanks a lot! Really helpful insight! Seems a lot of red flagsThese are solid shoes if you want something with a lot of cushion. looks like she double socked?
One last follow up from me. I had the opportunity to play a USTA Singles Tourney last weekend. 3 matches, 6 sets. 4.0 level.
Final observations:
The cushion is just as good as the GP Turbo. Maybe better. My legs are sore, my back is sore, but my feet and knees are fine. True the Challenge 1 does not have the same squish, but they are very effective.
The fit is better. With the Turbo’s I would have had some normal blister, etc. toe damage after playing that much across a couple days. The wider Challenge toe box is superior to the Turbo fit.
The breathability is better. Turbo’s hold so much heat and take forever to dry. Challenge 1 is much less hot on foot and airs out much quicker.
The Tongue should be slightly wider. This has had no impact on me but its just a design mistake. I prefer the tongue composition to the Turbo - the extra padding is nice - but no doubt they screwed it up a but and didn’t make it wide enough.
Durability is the same.
As someone who played 2 years exclusively in Turbo’s, and was nervous to try something new, I prefer the Challenge 1.
CT
Interesting, just goes to show how subjective this is because I've played in both and while both are comfortable I find the Challenge's to have a superior cushion but that's because I think the firmer and springy zoom set up is "better" for tennis or anything athletic. The Turbos had a more "comfortable" midsole if you just value something that is plush and pillow like for you feet but I don't think it's the best for performance, the mushy, soft feeling while nice makes the shoe feel like there's a lag but the Challenge has that energy return that helps propels you.I think you’re the first person to come out and say you prefer the GPC1 to the GPT. I have also tried both & just can’t agree on the cushion comp. The full length zoom is definitely more comfy in the midfoot region. I think the GPC1 is a fine shoe & might have a better upper in the long term compared to the GPT, but GPT wins in the cushion department against any shoe Nike has made in a long time for tennis players
