Absolutely, back in 2021, I got three pairs of Vapor Xs for $35 a pair in Jacksonville. I’ve seen GP Challenge Pros a lot recently but I didn’t like it. Saw VC4s out of my size a couple weeks back. It’s a good place to go if you have time and see one on the road.
 
The hyperdunk I had was sub par. It had the smallest forefoot zoom you will ever see. Donno what they are putting in these new ones.

I'm gonna guess it means you don't want to play in the Hypersmash
 
There seems to be a lot a mystery around the Hypersmash release. Friday night they show up on NDC for an hour and then vanish with no trace. Saturday morning TW has them on their site with a few sizes showing backorder. Then after about 2 days they disappear from their site. TW also had an IG post Monday with a short video on these, the comments section is filled with questions on why the shoes were not for sale on their site.....now the next day the IG post has been deleted.

There is no information any where on the actual release date and all evidence of them being available for sale has been wiped from existence. No pairs on the big auction site and none on the big resale sight either, no listings and no asks.

Yet people were able to order from NDC and TW and shoes are out for shipping. Did anyone get theirs yet? Post up some pictures of these elusive ghost of a shoe!!!

super weird. glad I got mine!!
 
I feel like although they are a little narrow in the forefoot, they run true to size. I bought some Nike Booker basketball shoes in an 11 that were a tighter fit than Hypersmash in a 10.5.

i think you might be confusing the huarache 2k4 with the hyperdunk. i think the og hyperdunks had something "lunar" in the forefoot. the huarache 2k4s had the zoom bag the size of a penny in the forefoot.
 
Kinda curious, anyone planning to play tennis competitively in this shoe or are you guys buying it to shelve or wear for casual walk-around shoes?

I plan on playing in them. The mid foot shank on Vapors is two stiff for me as a casual walking around shoe and I don't put shoes on the shelf so on the courts they will go! Visually I find them far more appealing than the standard line of Vapor 12s, in hand these look great! I really hope I can get my hands on the yellow ones too.
 
I also plan on playing in these. They are considerably softer and lighter than the stock 12s due to the lack of all the TPU/rubber on the toe and medial side. They might not be quite as durable as the stock 12s, but honestly I’m not buying vapors for durability, and these feel much lighter, not to mention more comfortable, than the heritage colorway of the 12s I bought. The synthetic leather and weight of the shoe really reminds me of the old lunar vapor tour 8s - in a good way
 
Hello all. I was fortunate enough to grab a pair of the HS before they were taken down. It sounds like we’ll see them again in a few weeks. I’m wondering if anyone has any info on release dates of future color ways for this shoe… Does anyone know the release date of the yellow pair we’ve seen? Will there be anymore colors that anyone knows of?

We'll see if Kyrgios will wear them (Hypersmah) at I.W., given that, at the moment, he is the only player to have worn the Vapor 12 :)

I can easily imagine Alcaraz wearing them. They already custom make his Vapors.

It'd be a full custom upper, so they could just make it TPU instead of the fake leather and it would still look close enough.

I didn’t get the 2k4 but I cut open the hyperdunk and it had probably the same mini zoom as you mentioned. How on earth can they make a zoom that tiny ? Insane Alien technology.
