Yes, It will be for Iw next year I believe. The hypersmash is a cosmetic variant pf this model, right?
Sigh the one we should’ve gotten
It looks very similar to the pair Korda has on. Is there a huge difference?Sigh the one we should’ve gotten
Same shoes, different colorsIt looks very similar to the pair Korda has on. Is there a huge difference?
That's what I was thinking until David Le mentioned something. I thought I was just not noticing something clear to everyone lolSame shoes, different colors
Sigh the one we should’ve gotten
what exactly is the difference? I am kind of a shoe addict yet can not distinguish what are remarkable differences vs cosmetic differences with any certainty.Sigh the one we should’ve gotten
Idk if it’s just me but the collar where the ankle sits is higher on the prototype. It looks more thicker/padded similar to the Vapor 9/9.5 compared to how it looks on Korda/Rune, it’s more slim like the Vapor 10/Pro 1. Could be the angle of the photo or the size difference in feet. Overall you have to be in consideration that the playtesters who did had the chance to test them also made their feedback on what they did like or didn’t
Perhaps, we’ll see. Honestly I’d have loved a higher arch for the ankle, more stabilityIt's the angle IMO
The swoosh is thicker, the last thing the VAPOR needs is more weightIt's utter trash, man. Can't you tell from just a couple of pics?

Im just waiting for @gino to tell me why it is not good enough and decry the death of Nike Court even though no one has seen it in real life or had it on their foot

I commented as well on his hint of a change... 30 days out from release... when the general releases have probably already hit production and design locked over the summer or earlier. Thats not really how it works, especially with the V3 being just a retool of the V2.Lol stop it I can't take anymore
On a serious note where is that guy who just randomly hinted there could be a hidden midsole change to the VP3, like a shank, but says he is a 14yo junior player?
You guys must be air zoom revive fans. Terribly designed bottom heavy shoes for 3.5-4.0 players seem to be the magic pill. Enjoy !
I like the Vapor Cage 4 so I'm widely regarded as a doofus and love heavy shoesDon't remember those lol. I had some Breathe Cage 2 and hated them. Went to Zoom Cage 2 and loved those, then went on an odyssey that didn't stop until I found the Cage 4 and GP

But you could customize the color of your ankle rollthe most unserious thing ever done in the tennis footwear space was the zoom revive. removable insoles in a shoe with a non-durable mesh/patent leather upper
pure comedy. i love nike, but we must admit they are not perfect. balls and strikes

There were two (or more?) different versions of the Cage 2? Were the lasts (fit) used to make them the same at least?Breathe Cage 2 and hated them. Went to Zoom Cage 2
Cage 4s were/ARE good! I think people just want novelty.I like the Vapor Cage 4 so I'm widely regarded as a doofus and love heavy shoes

Tell me about it! Ditto with the Lacostes and Asics' but without the Medvedrv/djoko stuff too. At least their logos aren't as gaudyI wanted to buy a few more pairs, but not with Vamos' name tattooed to the heel.![]()

Oh they were THAT far apart?! I thought it was like the VX and the VX Knit or something. Guess it wasn't built on the same last then huh? Very odd naming convention...Breathe Cage was like 2008/9, Zoom Cage 2 was like 2015
Does it mean I'm a tennis shoe degenerate if I look at these and think, "I kinda still want to try this setup"?the most unserious thing ever done in the tennis footwear space was the zoom revive. removable insoles in a shoe with a non-durable mesh/patent leather upper

Like many of the rest of us hahahaI completely forgot about these. I remember they felt like bricks on foot. I tried a pair during my college years and went straight back to the Breathe Free II.
100% agree with you. Still, I admire the fact that nike went ahead and put this on the market. It shows me that the brand is not afraid of failing.
