Maybe the ideal for 2026 would also be to have a double colorway of the upper, with a nice color combination, like the Sabalenka WTA Finals, or, to go further back, the Nike Air Court Motion Hewitt 2001 and Rios 1999 and Nika Air Anticipate Rios 1998...We'll see.

I have my second pair of these shoes. The first ones lasted me 3 months before they fell apart. I thought maybe it was a flaw in that pair. However, the second pair has now fallen apart after 2 months of use. The quality of the synthetic fabric on the upper of these shoes is simply terrible. Has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like you’re a slider. My clay pair looks peachy coming up on 9 months

I try to get two at once to keep the wear equally between the two, they both last about 4 months together but based on how I play it’s expected to happen lol…I also go through a lot of shoe strings that’s the most annoying part but I love the shoes all together definitely want to grab that green pair !

My playing style is a lot of running and quick changes of direction, maybe that's the reason. It's a shame the quality is so poor because the shoes are very good for playing.

Can probably get warranty replaced

Can probably get warranty replaced
yes, the first time I did it, they were purchased directly through the official nike webshop. The second time I bought through tennis point. I don't know if that policy applies to them too.. mostly, I'm disappointed with the quality considering the price. I'm looking for an alternative

I am almost positive it still applies. Talk to Nike!

Agree and understood about quality. This warranty though really helps calm me with getting Nike sneakers.

Honestly I wish they would do a V12 ID program that featured older outsole options (though I do like the new one a lot...) but of course that is a...tiny market haha

Sometimes the clay sole models are on sale compared to their hardcourt counterparts.

Is it possible to play on hardcourt with clay shoes? Any major issue?

Just do a Foot Doctor Zach and Frankenstein your own ones like he did trying to recreate Thiem's custom SoleCourt Boosts haha

At least for the V12 they are far too grippy when I tried. And probably won't last very long. The grooves on the tread are wider/deeper than the hard court, and softer, so your feet will just stick to the court.
Instead of gripping at the point when you put the most energy through them (stopping, change of direction).

I did use the clay soles on hard with the VP2 and didn't have as much of a hard time but also wasn't as good with my footwork at the time, so wasn't much of a factor.
