When do these drop?

I see what you're saying and until we try them out it's all speculation, but that's what I'm a little concerned with. I don't think the VP3 looks any more durable or comfy than the VP2, so with the cage 4s likely being discontinued and the vapor 12 diverging from the vapor 11, where is the high end durable/supportive shoe in Nike's lineup?

Cage may stick around in some form, Rafa is getting a lifetime deal

these vapor 12's have some of my favorite uppers I've ever seen. seems they took inspiration from vp2 and v11. That looks like some very soft and comfortable materials on that upper. Seems it will rap around your foot in a very comfortable way, excited!

Has anybody figured out the differences between the VP3 and V12? Will the VP3 finally be the takedown model of the VP12 or is it going to be another VP2 vs. V11 where most people end up opting for the VP2 because of the lighter weight instead of the flagship VP11

VP3 is basically a VP2, noone knows about the V12

Based on players playing in it and the pics, the outsole looks thicker on VP3 over VP2. Comfort no way for us to tell without trying them on or reviews. I guess reviews will come Dec 20th or so

Hoping we get them a bit earlier at retail here in Melbourne to coincide with AO.

Usually, one of the Nike flagships here carries the AO line in store from week the AO starts, and the last few years they've had the main Vapor (V11, VNXT), and an Osaka shoe.

As someone said in the other thread, looks like a Vapor 12-material upper but still with the same mold as the VP1, with the Air Zoom midsole and seems to be a Vapor X/VP1 outsole. At least it looks more like a Vapor 12 than his previous custom VP1 to look like a V11 ever did.

Zooming in, Alcaraz has a vapor 12 with vapor pro 1 sole; so, if it stays like this, it is still a vapor 12 shoe that differs only in the sole... If you like, a bit like Federer.
The prevalence of the white color, with inserts of other colors is an excellent solution.

Good comparison with fed - he basically used the same outsole/last from 2005 onwards. We could see something similar with CA

Speaking of shoes, Dimitrov have been spotted wearing all white out shoes which appeared to be the Vapor 12s but could be a Lacoste prototype which looks like a Vapor

At the moment, Kyrgios and Alcaraz vapor 12...
Will Sinner remain with zero zoom?...At least until the release of GP Challenge 2 :)

sinner prob gets vapor pro 3 foot job considering the shift in design to look more like Zoom Zero
Exactly what I'm expecting as well. Would be very weird to me if he remains using a Zoom Zero with no VP3 paint job or he will do just like Alcaraz and just keep the Zoom Zero outsole. If he keeps using the Zoom Zeros after a couple of new models, I'd like to see if Nike would release a model based on his likings whith his insights on the making process

Shoe: any color

Sock: no-show or ultra low.

Check.

And problem solved.

[edit: I have a feeling a group beating will commence lol]
Do you even sweat? The crew socks have a purpose and that is keep more moisture away from your feet and prevent blisters and rubbing.
Once a crew socks is on you will never go back (Tan lines prevent that)

I do indeed sweat! So much so, that the tiny bit of fabric on a crew sock would be rendered utterly pointless. :)
