Seemingly the NXT lives on as the Vapor 11. Same tread as the VP2, differs in upper.I wonder if Nike is getting rid of the NXT. The sole and midsole look more like the NXT to me.
Looks like super thick cushioning. how are they going to keep the weight under 14 OZ with such thick cushioning ??
I don’t think it’s thick as much as we’re all used to the Vapor having zero cushioning to where normal cushioning looks thick.Looks like super thick cushioning. how are they going to keep the weight under 14 OZ with such thick cushioning ??
look at the thickness of the cushioning, it is Thick... looks like GT Turbo thick.I don’t think it’s thick as much as we’re all used to the Vapor having zero cushioning to where normal cushioning looks thick.
Looks like the outsole from the Vapor LiteI’m really curious about the durability of these shoes. I’ve never seen a tread pattern like those outside of Nike.
These are somehow worse
Just based on looks, the Vapor Pro is gone and the VP2 is the new NXT Takedown. Where the V11 is the new NXT. But, hey, there's at least 1 color way of the 9.5 coming back!
What these are sick what are y'all on!
So basically.... hahaha, because the Vapor Pro was so well received, they've effectively discontinued the Vapor shoes and reverted back to what worked.
Nice going Nike. All you had to do was continue a winning design in the form of 9/9.5/10.
Well, at least you realized it and brought back one winning formula.
I appreciate their drive to innovate, but it has caused some big misses simply for the sake of change.
Vapor 9.5 was one; GP Turbo is another.
Cage 4 was an awesome upgrade to the Cage 2 and 3, but it left us without a truly breathable durable shoe.
I personally do not categorize the 10 with the 9 series of Vapors. The 9/9.5s were the same generation. The 10/Pro are of the same gen, too. I categorize the generations based on the outsole design.Nice going Nike. All you had to do was continue a winning design in the form of 9/9.5/10.

This new shoes is supposed to be performance shoes that perform while playing tennis matches. does it perform and give you the best movement and jumping abilities as possible ??Yeah I can see that. To me, it was the lacing system. Which is why I grouped the 9/9.5/10 together for myself.
9/9.5 were truly the best. 10 being the next best thing, and Pro being "ugh... fine, next next next next closest thing"
which one is Holger Rune wearing ? i want to wear what he's wearing then i can move just like him
You have to promise to be less of a knob than him on the court though - pretty low bar tbh...which one is Holger Rune wearing ? i want to wear what he's wearing then i can move just like him

Given these look nearly identical to the Vapor 11 and I'd swear they're the same shoe...
(Sincerely) can someone tell me the "technical" differences between the two? I'd even settle for some press briefer type tidbits if anyone has them.
Do either of them have a noticeable inward slant?Posted in 11s thread too:
Vapor 11s and Vapor Pro 2s arrived today, tried both of them while playing doubles for a couple hours.
The cushioning in the 11s is really nice and they feel more sturdy than a normal 'Vapor' line shoe, without feeling bulky. Padded tongue is great as is the more normal lacing, and fit true to size without the narrowness of recent Vapor Pros. Coming from the Cage 4s (where I went half a size down), Vapor Pros (half size up), and GP Turbos as my most recent shoes, they felt like a nice balance in between them.
The Vapor Pro 2s were a bit weird. They have a more narrow fit, but not as much as the original Vapor Pros, with a bit more cushioning than the last generation and less of an inward tilt. They didn't feel any quicker than the 11s, though, and the upper felt a bit cheaper / needing to break in more. They felt like a cheaper version of the 11s, overall.
I may have just been biased by the price points etc but, if anything, I was expecting the Pros to be more up my alley.

What size and weight?Vapor 11
Actually I found specs on Nike Spain:@innoVAShaun sorry if I missed it, but is there a breakdown on the differences between the 2s and 11s?
