Does anyone have any reviews yet? I hope they come in a decent width.

Haven’t got them myself but have seen reviews of people burning through the suede rather quickly. Probably worth keeping in mind if you’re planning on playing in them

Yep, very comfortable and stylish street shoe, but the toe material would be doomed if you have an aggressive slide or drag. It would be rad if they did a Kevlar patch like the old Resistance, but these will be shredded on court. Fit is roomy but maybe a bit short compared to normal Vapors.

Ironically, the video posted by Zeb claims litterally the exact opposite regarding the material as it stood up incredibly well to his dremel test on the upper, near the toe.
Do they have a generous width in the toebox would you say or is it a narrow foot only, type o' thing?
Given that some apparantly consider this some kind of a gimmick item, has anybody on here actually played tennis in them and kindly would care to comment?

First time poster here. The standard Vapor X is my normal shoe. My girlfriend, who is not a tennis player, gave me a pair of these for Christmas. To me, the fit was pretty close to the standard Vapor X; no noticeable difference. I burned a hole through the front of the toe in ~3 90min singles sessions. I do not consider myself particularly hard on shoes. For a standard summer season in the northeast (May-October) playing 3-4 times a week on hard for 60-90 mins, I'll go through 2 pairs of shoes. As soon as I opened the box and saw the shoe, I knew this was going to happen, but the girlfriend meant well, bless her heart. Very comfortable, but Nike or TW marketing this as an actual tennis shoe is a bit ridiculous.

Maybe they are for old-timers... As a 50 year old, 3.5 level player... I might find them a bit more comfortable than the X. Not concerned about wear on the upper part... It's a non-issue for me.

Same exact thing happened to me

I've been playing with them for a few weeks....maybe 6? 3-4 times a week indoors. I like them but, they are designed more like fashion shoes, lots of padding in the tongue makes it hard to really cinch the laces down. The laces also are hard to double not as it is so puffy. I tried to play them with insoles ( I have really flat feet), the insoles made it too tight. I like this pair, I like the look but doubt I will buy them again - and I am prone to buying 5-6 pairs at once when I like them. My 2 cents.

Im actually grateful you have all this Nike info AND also have my issue of wide feet needing a 2E.

When i wear normal air max 95's width wise they are fine but normally with these hybrids it seems to take the width of whatever sole the bottom shoe is ie i have air max 97 x air max plus with a plus top and 97 sole and it takes the width of the 97 unfortunately

Did anyone confirm what the width was of these? I saw a lot of these being sold from factory outlets recently
