3 years ago like no one here said Fritz would be top ten. His live ranking now is #4. So sorry most of you have no clue what you are talking about.

Btw does Mohamed Lahyani sometimes forget players names when calling score? He does this thing "Advantage uhh....Djokovic!" ike he suddenly remembered the name.
He uses that uhhh a lot just before scoring word too, like "uhhh fifteen forty".

I think it's just his OCD trying to be very clear on words pronunciation.

Fritz has climbed over Foe and Paul to lead the American Mug Triumvirate. He’s a huge betting fav over Brooksby who hasn’t played a pro match since AO 2023. Bet the farm on Brooksby.

Playing in his second ATP event he takes out the dangerous Tabilo- (the defending champ).

No flaws in his groundstrokes, backhand is world class, serve is developing nicely and has a very high tennis IQ.

Return game is also elite and he can generate lots of break chances with that shot.

Nicknamed "Challenger Djokovic" because of how much his suffocating baseline control oriented game resembled the great N.D.

Outside of Fritz the American with the most upside imo.

Do you mean that one day in the distant future he will be, or at the end of this year?

Until he wins something like 250 500 1000 he will not scale any heights. One title under his name and he will be different. And fitness is key.

High backhand and good forehand potency numbers, he really does a Djokovic impression. Obviously against weaker opposition, but still very impressive. Serve and stamina still lacking.

I pray to God he's not going to be the next Chung Hyeon.

Both of them like to wear sunglasses too.

Djokovic’s serve and stamina were also lacking at the same age. But I don’t think Djokovic already had knee surgeries at the same age.
