Nishikori News

Tiafoe already upset in the First Round... Lost to some Miomir ranked 215.
Highest remaining seed is Fritz (3) who can meet Kei in the semis.

Never would've expected they'd have their Memphis rematch in a Challenger.

Quite an unexpected resurgence from Nishi.

Can he keep it up through the end of the season?

Quality from the world #12 in France. Good things to come for the remainder of the year?

Didn't realise Medvedev was married! Isn't he a bit young for that sort of thing? Shouldn't he be focussing on getting his career going at this stage?

No actually I think him and Karen Kachanov are doing a good thing. Same like Roger, get settled so they can focus on tennis.

I actually didn't realize he's married either but good for him.

Roger was already a multiple Slam champion by the time he tied the knot. Rafa still won't go there at the ripe old age of 32. What's the hurry for Medvedev and Khachanov? Is it a custom or something for Russians to marry young?

Many congratulations for Nishi. I often see him playing in Brisbane and finally he snatches the trophy!

Who knows but they are certainly mature enough especially Kachanov.

Kei is playing scary good. his timing is impeccalble now. His ball feel is back

I noticed how positive his body language looked in Brisbane. He looks healthy for once and this is obviously giving him the confidence he needs to play his best. Let's hope that will continue long enough to give him a good run in 2019 and look forward to seeing how he fares at the first Slam of the year shortly!

I have a feeling he is going to retire soon. Don't know why.

Hope he retires, his oncourt bodylanguage is a downer, always depressed and unwatchable.
