No love for a favourite string of mine

The Solinco range are also very good and more widely used - Tour Bite shares some ALU like quality - possibly why KMP gets less attention. I currently use the rough version and this does help a little with spn production, but for me its all about the feel. If you value the feel of the ball on contact its as good as anything that I've played.

I love the feel of this string, and it lasts ages. I don't like tour bite as it's quite inconsistent.

It doesn't have the ball grab of alu but I actually think max power is stiffer and I should have strung it 3lbs lower.

Another great German string is isospeed grey fire

Haven’t tried the Isospeed - how does it compare to KMP?

It has a unique feel. Can't quite describe, not as crisp as mp, but still good connection with the ball. I actually think grey fire outperforms it to be honest but mp definitely holds tension longer. Gf is still above average in this category. Gf is softer, more spin potential but I need to drop the tension on mp before I can compare properly. Hope that helps

Agreed, it is somewhere between crisp and muted without being near the bad of either end of the spectrum. Hard to explain. I have only tried it once as it was given to me by a rep as a throwaway but went back for more! I have strung it up for others and no-one has disliked it but I have had some meh responses.

Thanks - will be ordering a set and testing.

Kirschbaum strings are highly underrated. I think it is mainly due to too many offerings, Confusing naming, unique coloring and lack of marketing. My favorite kirschbaum string is competition. The only complaint I have with competition is the color. It’s spot on kirschbaum signature golden yellow but clashes with most of my frames. Haven’t tried max power but I’m intrigued. I remember trying super smash honey but that felt like using actual weed wacker cord. Browsing through their line I could never make up my mind or figure out what string would best suit me.

I have Max Power rough delivering tomorrow. I really like PLE and wanted to try something similar but textured. I hope this fits the hill.

Hope you enjoy max power. In my opinion it’s a lot more fun than PLE. Of course I always find myself coming back to PLE because it’s a great workhorse poly. Max power is a crazy blend of power and crispness that I didn’t think existed in polys. They’re both great but pretty different in my opinion- should be a fun comparison!

ps- hit out on your shots with max power. It’s that weird blend of hit it harder to make it go in.
