Scalpers go hosed today as the US Open policy gives no refunds for rainouts. Hah, not only does the USTA make $185 million but it's russian roulette on weather effects when you buy tickets for the late sessions!!!

For Sessions #23 through #26

* The Inclement Weather Policy does not apply to sessions #23 through #26.
* The Inclement Weather Policy does not apply to any new, ticketed Session(s), if any, added to the official US Open schedule in advance of the 2009 US Open if such new Session(s) is scheduled after Session #22.

Important: The 2009 US Open Inclement Weather Policy is subject to change and does not apply to:

Weather and Schedule Information
Friday, September 11, 2009

(as of 09/11/09 at 12 pm ET)

Weather at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center continues to be challenging with rain Friday and possible breaks in the afternoon.

We will make every effort to play today’s matches (Session 23). We are expecting potential delays due to the weather, but will play tennis if sufficient breaks in the rain occur. The first match in Arthur Ashe Stadium is currently scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET at the earliest. Please check back often for any updates.

The Nadal – Gonzalez match which was not completed Thursday night during session #22, is scheduled to conclude after the first women's semifinal. Only session 23 tickets will be honored.

Due to the uncertainty of the weather forecast for Friday, the USTA has several contingency plans in place to address the completion of Thursday night's match and beyond. Those plans will be implemented and communicated as the forecast develops throughout the day.
