No Shave November. Who is ready?

Lol some of us aren't blessed with full beards yet. I still shave. As much as I love patchy beards where half of the hair is blonde lol. But when it gets dark I wanna look like grizzly adams

Im in!

Lately I have been thinking I might have OCD or something cause I seriously trim my beard everyday, trying like mad to make it even. So I am taking this chance/excuse to prove that I dont have OCD :D

Here is a good razor for a tennis player. This is my German "Tennis" brand straight razor, from around 1930. Notice the crossed racquets on the tang, a very early tennis logo item.

... I am sporting a d0uch3 bag beard....

What's the difference between a beard, a d0uchebag beard and a hipster beard?

EDIT:
Okay. After giving this a few minutes of thought....
The dooshbag beard, I'm guessing, is neatly trimmed, like a chinstrap or possibly a goatee.
The hipster beard is the same as a beard, only the guy has a $40 hairdo, skinny jeans, a lumberjack shirt and he's nursing a Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Week 2 Update:

Lookin' pretty scraggly. It got annoying for a few days last week, but I'm thinking (and hoping) I'm pretty much out of the woods when it comes to discomfort. I'm just stuck looking like a homeless leprechaun for two more weeks.

Update for me Nov 15 (half way there)

My beard is right now comparable to Ernests Gulbis in Delray Beach...this is going to get out of hand in the next two weeks

Update, NoShavember 15th.
Beard. Full beard.
Just perfect after two weeks.
Looking forward to week 3.
Getting a little scratchy. Looks manly. Feels great. Wife likes it.
THinking of shaving everything but the goatee. But then I'd be welching on this thread. And trying to look like my own evil twin.

So, on with the beard -- the full beard -- the real deal. It's literally the most natural thing a man can do.

Yes I know what you mean, but I'm worried about looking too cool ...

Excellent, so we all agree that we are trying to become Clint (including the 16 yr olds) by not shaving this month??

Well I would much rather become Steve McQueen but I dont recall him ever sporting a beard :(

SOOOOO hard for me not to trim my beard so I have supplemented by only trimming the stache:) it's getting pretty grizzly.

Week 3 Update:

It's getting worse my friends. I'm not gonna cave, but every time I move my mouth, I can feel the whiskers right on the edges of my lips and it is SO annoying, like bugs are crawling on my face or something.

But have no fear, for December is almost here. :)

Ha, you're more right than you know. I just moved here from Cincinnati. Whats ironic is all the dudes here spend their time trying to look like mountain men but in reality they're all nancies.

Hmmm .... I see, so, your pic implies ... you've been welcomed to Portland!

Ha, well actually that picture was taken awhile back. I was saying goodbye to my friend who was shipping off to Iraq. I used it, because its the closest likeness to where my beard currently is.
