No show socks?

Personally I can't wear high/tall socks for tennis, it's horrible feeling for me, so max length of socks I use are quarter socks, Nike Dri-Fit. And also I don't want tan lines in the middle of my leg haha... But mostly iťs not comfortable. Do any of you use no show socks? I play on artificial grass and red clay.

Nike Elite Tennis looks interesting:

In the summer I wear no show socks. These Nike socks are the only socks I wear. They hold up very well and have great support.

I wear quarter length myself as crews are longer than what I like. But I can't do no-shows. Just don't like them. Love the Fitsok Quarter Cushions. The 3 pack is a great deal. The Adidas Cushion quarter is cheaper for 3 pack, but not as good feeling/supportive.

Hate no show socks. I don't want to feel like I'm not wearing socks or look like the women, who tend to wear no shows more.
To each is own, during casual walk don't you use no shows in sneakers or low socks?

Loved the Adidas Barricade No show socks back in the day....

Really enjoy the R & L fit socks....

Been play testing the Feetures socks Light cushion & the Adidas Traxion no show socks. Leaning towards the Adidas as it feels more solid overall, but its not like the Feetures are bad socks.

Clay get's in the shoe anyway so this doesn't matter at all
No, it’s to keep all the grit and sweat off of your legs and ankles so it doesn’t run down into your feet. I would never wear no see socks on clay. Disgusting.

I usually do fitsok no-show or quarter socks. I also have Nike dri-fit cushion no-show but not as nice as the fitsok. I've also tried Head no-shows in the past but they were really slippery in the shoe when there was any sweat.

Never thought no-show sox will enter the tennis territory. But looks like everyone has their own preference. I always want regular full length sox for tennis, because it helps keep the sweat away as well.

Never really wore low socks...Probably because I have skinny ankles and frankly find them uncomfortable. That said, I don't like high socks either. A nice pair of mid cut socks usually gets the job done for me :)

I wear no shows or the ones with the tab on the achilles when wearing a pair of Flyknit Prestos or Nike Air Max Zero. I wear the crew ones either folded a quarter way or bunched up but with the Nike Swoosh still visible.

No shows only. Grew up in the 80's wearing no socks or no show socks and have stayed that way since. Haven't worn the longer socks since late 70's, or maybe early 80's.

I'll see what they have at Nike Factory Store when I'll go there in 2 weeks. Have been using quarter socks in tennis forever

They're a bit expensive unless you get them with a discount, but I wear bombas ankle length for everything. They're close to no show in my ascis FF's but they have a similar tab like the nikes you had up that prevents blisters on the back of the heal. They also donate a pair for each one you buy which is kinda cool

PM me if you're interested in a coupon

I'm still trying to figure out the purpose of no-show socks other than to look like you're not wearing socks. So..yeah..I don't wear them. I'm a crew sock person when playing tennis and quarter/ankle sock person when running.

Being in GA, I go with regular Thorlos (crew, ankle cut) in the winter for matches and then Thorlos Experia no show's in the spring/summer/fall for matches. Although yes, crew all year round for clay matches...

Thorlos is probably the brand I'm most loyal to in all of my apparel/equipment -- made in the USA (not many textile products can claim that anymore sadly), high quality, innovative, and socially-responsible/charitable. That said, I do tend to wait for their sales to stock up...

No show socks, like all equipment for your feet need to fit your foot to protect from blisters.
Some folks shoe/foot combo don't need protection in the rear of your feet.

No show socks are in style. Look at young cool people. That’s what they r wearing.
I like the style, it looks hip. Period.

Opinions are like bungholes. Everyone’s got one. Period.
Here’s another opinion. High socks on men look stoooooopid.
Bam!

I don't really care what people think. I use now quarter socks, can't wear full crew socks I have feeling like my legs can't breathe lol.. might stick with quarter and maybe try no show. But Nike Elite's don't make in quarter only no show or crew..

Played match today with Nike Elite No-Show socks - best socks ever which I tried!!! Love it!!! :D I wanted to buy Quarter lenght but they didn't have in stock for a while, even didn't have my size in No-Show so I took a size bigger, put on hot wash and they shrink a bit and they are magnificient
