NO to Djokovic vs Murray Final!

Yeah, I just don't get excited for Murray vs. Djokovic. Nothing against either player, but it just doesn't have the allure that Nadal vs. Federer had/has.
I'd like to see a new player break through and win a slam.

Murray and Djokovic by default. I do want to see the Brit win one for his country though. Would make this now boring Wimbledon exciting to watch.

No one should assume it won't be great. Not enough data points yet; Murray wasn't ready for what Djokovic threw at him at the AO and Djokovic wasn't ready to deal with the wind in the USO final.
I still think Haas might pull the upset; he's the better grass player and has beaten Djokovic at W before.

They're going to wear down and get dusty and slower.
The reason that this could be a great final is because a) Murray now has some bigtime successes to boost his confidence going in; b) Djokovic has the bad taste in his mouth from RG and wants to remind people he's #1.

+1. Unless some of the young guys really figure it out in a hurry, with Fed and Nadal on the downslope, this will be the 1 v 2 matchup that will make it to most major finals.

No it was actually quite boring. No offence. They are both great players, but I always tend to get bored when they play each other. I guess cause their playing styles are somewhat similar.

Murray vs Djokovic can be good, though I suppose it can be bad. The AO final this year was alright. The Semi last year was good, and the Shanghai final was good too. IMO if they are both playing well it's good, and if not, it's a push fest.
If Djokovic and Ferrer get injured then Berdych should get to the final.
Failing that, Djokovic-Murray will be enjoyed by many, myself included.

The matchup is boring as their styles are very similar, there isn't enough contrast. However, on grass it should be a bit more interesting.
I want to see Murray or someone new win. Hopefully Murray vs. Dimitrov/Haas/Raonic.

Sorry, but that match was boring as hell...even the highlights were boring.
The only thing I remember from that match was Djokovic sounding like he was getting stabbed and hitting/slicing the ball, and lunging, squatting and swatting like an amateur because of all the wind.
Not enough contrast in styles either. At least in Rafa v Djokovic matches, one of them is on the offence at any given time.
I want Djokovic upset by a journeyman early and Murray to take the trophy, because if Murray and Djokovic are going to be how things are going to be the next five years, the only thing to keep me entertained will be watching batz try defend Murray from the waves of haters accuse Murray of fluking Wimbledon because of a clown draw.

Expect Murray's wimpy baseline ball slapping and self hatred whining to destroy any possible chance of the latter stages of this tournament to be interesting. I'll be watching a final with him the same way I watched the USO final last year, with the TV off. Tennis deserves the decline in viewership when these kinds of players take up the tour. I don't care if he bagels every opponent for the rest of his career, his shots are boring and he'll turn this sport the way of Jai-alai.
If you think the final would be bad then you must have forgotten their AO semifinal match. Had me on the edge of my seat. Yes it was all from the baseline but they were cracking the ball. Reminded me a lot of the Blake v Agassi match at US '05 -- slightly less awesome though.

Seriously, how easy has Murray's draw gotten (even if Tsonga probably wouldn't have bothered him for long enough)? He better make the final in tiptop shape. Hopefully it is someone new for a change so there is a guaranteed first-time W champion.

You don't love the game. You just love certain players and certain styles of play. That's all. To say that you've never ever seen Murray hit an interesting shot simply means that you haven't bothered to watch many of his matches which is quite evident if you turn the TV off every time he plays.
TRUE tennis fans appreciate ALL aspects of the game and ALL the different styles of play. I guess, you sir, are no true tennis fan!
If every player just played the same and in the same style that YOU prefer, how boring that would be for the REST of us. That would be the TRUE death of tennis!
