No value in buying a reel vs single set - ISOSPEED Cream

Semi-Pro
There is no value in buying the reel when it comes to this string, why?

If stringing full bed (for example):

Reel @ $194.99
String length 660'
String length needed for one racket 40'
String jobs 660/40=16.5
Price per set $194.99/16.5=$11.81

Single set @ $8.99
String length 40'
String length needed for one racket 40'
String jobs 1
Price for 16.5 string jobs @ $8.99*16.5=$148.34
Savings by NOT buying reel 194.99-148.34= $46.57

Single set when buying 5+ @ $7.99
String length 40'
String length needed for one racket 40'
String jobs 1
Price for 16.5 string jobs @ $7.99*16.5=$131.84
Savings by NOT buying reel 194.99-148.34= $63.07

Single set when buying 10+ @ $6.99
String length 40'
String length needed for one racket 40'
String jobs 1
Price for 16.5 string jobs @ $6.99*16.5=$115.34
Savings by NOT buying reel 194.99-148.34= $79.57

Does the Cream simply not have a market for reel sales?

The single set is currently on back order as I wanted to give this a try in my crosses with ngut in the mains.

I buy reels only if there is a price/string job advantage. If you string your own, you could find that there is always some string left over from using a 40' pack. If the string job only uses 38', that's what you would pull from the reel rather than 40'. So you can get 17 string jobs from a reel if 38' is required. 195/17 = 11.48 per job. Since that is > than single pack, don't buy the reel. Isospeed is foregoing sales due to their silly pricing. But not all makers are this dumb. You could see a 5-10% savings by using reels, especially SG reels which typically use 34'-36'.

I prefer buying packs unless buying a whole reel is cheaper. I was about to buy a reel of RSLyon for $99 but found that the store had packs for $4.99 which is basically 20 sets for $100. I used about 5 packs and decided I did not care for the string and returned the rest of the unopened packs to the store for a full refund.

If sets work for you, I am happy.
When reels work (normally) for me, I am happier....

Also when buy donuts, only get one at a time.
Dozen will cost more....

If the price is the same for a reel vs sets i'll buy reel as a majority of my rackets require 18' main and 17' cross, which lets me squeeze out another set.

Just some thoughts:
Maybe isospeed has a lower price on the temporary lower price on individual sets to entice new users?
Maybe lower price is an attempt to surplus in stock, this is true as they are doing a bulk discount?
Maybe its more expensive to package the reels for random manufacturing reasons?

Whatever the reason, I agree with every. WTF is up with the pricing!!! I hope its just a pricing mistake/overlook.

Most reels have some advantage in a cost savings.
Right now cream reels seem not to one....
Be smart an don't get...
