Nobody is backing FAA

Nobody is talking about FAA . Can he do something special here

Guess that makes me Nobody. I can live with that.

On clay, no. I doubt he will even beat Table next up and I think Cobolli would be heavy favorite against him. The top half could yet end up with an all-Italian semi even despite Sinner and Darderi losing early and Musetti being injured.

Cobolli will smoke FAA

Bookies mostly have Cobolli fourth favorite, but most likely winner remaining in the top half. I would probably now have him second favorite for the title. (The bookies do have him as the second-most likely finalist).

It would be bizarre if Cobolli ended the drought of 24-year-old slam champions at his first try, after Sinner has failed on his first three.

Fair, and I realize that he doesn’t have the clay pedigree of Ruud, Zverev etc but I thought he was undervalued in the odds. At some point I might take my position off the table but I think he’s got some more rounds in him.

What are you going to do if a mug wins RG?
Fortunately, Sinner and Djokovic are already out of contention.

I’m still on the high of Carrot and Egg going out first week so I’m not worrying about it. And two time USO semi finalist PCB has a cakewalk draw to the trophy.

Speaking of Egg, he is so done even Dr Raul didn’t do his usual thumb sucking routine when Egg lost. Egg may need a TTW intervention so he doesn’t wind up losing to Herbie or similar 6-0 in the final set at W.

After Cerundolito loses, which he will accomplish sooner or later, I will be joining you rooting for the Spanish GOAT, Pablo Honey Carreño Busta.

All of the guys left are so fragile, yet so many of them have so much potential, honestly, anything could happen. I am thinking of Felix's performance against Zverev in New York last year where his forehand just exploded to life. Why not, right?

Him and Cobolli, if they both get there, could be a good one.

It's for your own protection. The only reason I have to sometimes do it myself is to preserve evidence of TTW polling interference. Or to add to my curated record of Dr Raul's thoughts for the benefit of future TTW generations.

End of last year Felix would be more persuasive, but as of right now there are more appetizing bets to make.

Let’s gooooooo FAA!

He looked good today. If he can play as well on serve as he did, then he must have a chance. He still didn't look as good on return/backhand as on serve/forehand (he never will do), but clay is more forgiving to returners, so that might not matter as much. Traditional clay courters almost never excelled at return of serve.

Yeah, only caught a little but the things I was counting on from him clicked today. Cobolli scares me but the challenge is the fun part. How did Cobolli look today?

If the forecast for rain holds FAA is probably the favorite on his side. That’s a factor that’s fascinating to me. He legit could win the FO because the roof closes just when the competition gets dangerous.
