Non-GT Pure Storm Tour vs GT Version

For those who have used both the Non-GT Pure Storm Tour and the Pure Storm Tour GT how do they compare in comfort and stability?

I use the Non-GT Pure Storm (heavily modded) which my wife enjoys so much she now wants something like it. Since I can't find another one anywhere we're looking at the Non-GT Pure Storm Tour as well as the PS Tour GT.

Your experience with these frames?

Thanks!

I had found a number of threads but knowing that opinions change over time I was curious about current opinions. Any change?

Can anyone tell me if there is much difference in the power level between the two versions? When I look it up on racquet power comparison tool it looks like the Non-GT Version has a lot more power than the GT version.

I recently switched to the PST non GT and love it. It is very flexible and easy on my arm so far(I have hit only 4 times). I cannot speak for the GT version as I have not tried it. My racket weighs 12.2 oz with a leather grip and an overwrap on it.

Non GT version felt great when serving and especially the forehand. Backhand, is ehh because im not so great but otherwise, like others said, it is easy on the arm. The GT version didn't really get me anywhere but irritate my arm. I put on like 2 shock absorbers to help a bit but it still irritated me. I'm not sure, it may just be the dead polys on it...... Anyway, IMHO
Non-GT > GT

The non-GT does feel softer and absorbs vibrations in a more diffused way. The GT version has that crisp feeling that, too me, is also arm friendly but offers a more stable feel when striking the ball. I usually describe the difference in feel between closing the door of an older cadillac and a newer mercedes. I actually like both pretty much equally and probably will hunt down another couple of non-GT PSTs to have around.

It seems to me that the non-GT has just a little less power than the GT version, and that is not a bad thing as I think this racquet, in general, has way too much power.

Note that I regularly use the PSLGT and have a non-GT PSL. With this frame there is no contest and the GT brings it to life. I have also tried the Pure Drive without GT and it is more arm friendly without and loses some of that annoying ping sound. The old pre-cortex Pure Drives are actually OK to play with.
