Notches on the string

Many people hybrid Luxilon ALU Power Rough as crosses with Gut Strings as mains, because the notches of Luxilon ALU Power Rough keep the Gut Strings from moving. However, the flaw of Luxilon ALU Power Rough is "expensive" and "going dead too fast".

I wonder if there are any good substitute strings with the same rough "notches"?

I don't know, but if I was stringing with gut, I certainly wouldn't put it on the mains with a a poly on the crosses.

try luxilon monotec zolo rough or sppp hextreme instead of alu rough
