Novak Djokovic and Random Fascinating Facts

At this year's Australian Open, Novak Djokovic lost only two games in his 1st Round Match and 3rd Round Match.

This marked only the 2nd time in the open era that a man has lost so few games in two matches at the same grand slam. The other time: Bjorn Borg at the 1978 French Open.

Novak Djokovic also has the record for most grand slam matches won losing two or less games. He has done this 5 times in his career. Vilas did it 4 times and Borg and Lendl did it 3 times. Federer and Nadal have never done it.

Djoko likes to really crush his opponents in the first rounds, Federer usually takes a one-break lead in each set and just focuses on winning his own service games without wasting much energy.

Djoko can really shorten careers with those devastating defeats

Do you have the stat for fewest games lost in a slam? I would assume all of Borg, Fed and Nadal would be in there, maybe McEnroe and Lendl as well? (For Nadal, I'm pretty sure RG 2008 would make the list).

1. Borg lost 32 games in 1978 French Open.
2. Borg lost 38 games in 1980 French Open.
3. Nadal lost 41 games in 2008 French Open.

Federer's best was losing 68 games at 2006 Wimbledon. This was the second fewest loss ever at Wimbledon.

Novak's best was losing 60 games at the 2011 Australian Open.

Great! Many thanks. Would you happen to have the stats for fewest games lost at USO? (and what is the fewest games lost at Wimbledon?)
I have another fun fact about Djoko. In which clay tournaments (that they both played at least once) does Djoko have a better record than Nadal? There are 2. Good luck!

Djoko played only 17 events (vs Fed's 18, Murray's 19, Delpo's 21 and Ferrer's 23) but he's #1 anyway. Quality vs quantity :)

Random FACT

Djokovic is the only man to have lost to Federer, Nadal and Murray in GS finals!!

Good one. He lost to each of them at the US Open (2007 v Federer, 2010 v Nadal, 2012 v Murray) and lost to one at the French Open (2012 v Nadal).

His best Slams are (in order of success).

1. Australian Open (3-0 in finals).
2. US Open (1-3 in finals).
3. Wimbledon (1-0 in finals).
4. French Open (0-1 in finals).

I want to break in with a hypothesis which follows: Borg would be a better blue clay player than Nadal because he's won more majors on faster surfaces and could play the unplayable.
