Nah I just think you’re annoying and seem to be on unhinged rant mode, which along with your huge images and a poor grasp of the English language is quite an eyesore
Ah Abuse ! LOL ! - You've lost it mate, and the argument.
Clearly you are well familiar with social media, yesterday piously questioning how aggressive everyone was on here.
So which is it ? Called out by you own hypocrisy.

Total BS from Novak. This is why he hasnt won over the respect from Fed fans the way Rafa did. Bc he always pulls BS like this. Then of course he’ll spend 18 months being ultra polite and nice doing things to show his contribution to the sport and the players. But the real Novak always shows himself in moments like these. I’ll take my words back if he actually withdraws from the USO.
Lol, have you ever read this forum? Ever? Rafa has 0 respect from most Fed fans on this matter... Million posts about his "injuries", skipping hard courts and always playing on clay... Literally million posts...

Rafa and Fed fans have a lot in common formidable role models well worthy of GOAT status.

I think it’s over for Djokovic. The mental demons have finally caught him. Great effort for equalling Federer and for his last 3 Slam year. Now Nadal will collect the next 3.
That is what you said the last few time YU (yugoslav)

About playing USO... I'm as sure as it's possible that he will play...

His statement is more under his disappoint for losing, and as we know that he is often hypochondriac, and in a way health lunatic it's not a surprise to say this...

I suppose all tennis players are all time in some kind of injuries, never 100% injury free, but Novak often exaggerate his, not attentional to make excuse, but as I said he is hypochondriac...

Novak skipped only one slam in his career so he will play this one, where he has chance for historical CYGS... Even if slightly injured...

That’s a great article thanks for sharing.

You just keep posting the same things over and over again that’s my main issue . And I don’t necessarily think saying “that’s social media” is an excuse, but obviously do what you want. I think you illustrate my point of someone driven to madness by their hatred for a player looks like.

Oh I don't know, Djokovics a handsome chap ........Not as good looking as Federer of course - Nor does he have the off court Charm or attractive looks of Nedal, or the likeable understated nature of the undoubtably handsome dour Scotsman, all GENUINE GOAT contenders.

As for myself being driven to madness I'm not sure I get your point. Genius is akin to madness.
And it's very clear whos squandered their true genius here.
I don't dislike Novak - He's deserving of pity - he needs help !
His fan, if he has any sense, will urge him to listen to the help he is undoubtedly receiving - But it's not in some ice bath !

Rafa: Don't worry bud, Novak surpassed us, but we will always have each other and Nike times...

Federer: Yeah, now we can play Laver cup for eternity... And we are loved and so popular bud... Even Rolex said numbers doesn't matter...
LOL ! Very good, I love the homoerotic undertones ! It won't work though ;-)
Novak has ALWAYS had an inferiorty complex compared to these two giants of the game.

Please remember this was not 50 years ago, or 10 years ago.

This man does not always make wise decisions. He can be very arrogant, and this time I think it caught up with him. His team told him not do overextend himself with doubles. He would not listen. I was actually backing him for the OG. I think it's quite possible he would have won in two sets against Z had he not worn himself out, and then he might be going for the gold. Instead he ran out of gas. And maybe he's injured, but I think all of us - not just haters - have good reasons to not believe that he is exactly forthright about injuries.

Nah there is a chance he skips it. He doesn't know if he is gonna play.
I’ll bet anything that he will play the USO. He put it about that he wasn’t sure he’d play the Olympics then a few days later he confirmed that he would.

It's not a big deal, there's no public anyway.
Sounds like a statement from someone who would DUI late at night because the roads are empty or throw trash out of their car because no one will see and get caught.

Dishonest and lacking of integrity. Says a lot about an individual.

Lol this comparison is ridiculous, even if the stadium was full, perhaps someone could have been killed or seriously injured by a racket  but i forgot Novak have practically killed a women with a tennis ball.

Novak top 10 biggest scandal at the OG after Ben Johnson and Tonya Hardind .

Djokovic will be there for the USO, no doubts about it. He has always "exaggerated" his injuries. He said he might not play Wimbledon in 2018, he won it. He said, he might not take the court after his infamour "abdominal tear", he did and went on to win the slam. He's obviously fatigued and needs to recover. But apart from that he will mostly be fine. He will be fit and firing at the USO.
Nole looked invincible beating Nishikori 2 and love. He then loses to Zverev and PCB and now has multiple injuries.

The Olympics is so pointless. I really wish he didn't care about it so much and he won a medal back in 2008. It's a bonus tournament, not something to be sacrificing so much over.

Olympic Singles Gold is literally the only box Djoker hasn't checked in his tennis career. The only hole in his resume that remains ...

Slams 4/4
YEC 1/1
M1000s 9/9
OSG 0/1

& you honestly feel this way??

As a Fed fan Monte-Carlo/Rome/OSG hold tremendous importance solely due to the fact that Fed could never win them ...

As an actual tournament in of itself i can understand OSG is akin to an ATP 500 tournament in terms of player draw & general level of competition etc ...

Nevertheless, your post comes across in much the same manner as Nadal fans on these forums & their incessant bashing of the YEC & its gross insignificance ...

It may have seemed like that in Tokyo but 5 of the 9 editions played since tennis again became an Olympic sport were won by multiple Slam champions and 3 of the runners up were themselves Slam champions so it has been much more than any 500 level event.

I'm not meaning to denigrate the accomplishment but when you've won the 1st three Slams of the year, with a chance to win an extremely rare CYGS, it's not something you sacrifice that over for. Frankly, I was hoping he would have skipped it altogether because I don't feel it's something he necessarily has to win.

Olympic Tennis historically doesn't have much of a list of "Big Names" that have won the tournament.

Furthermore listing "Slam Champions" as the sole reason for a counter argument against a comparison to ATP 500s when ...

Most titles
Bold face designates active players

Quite a list of slam champs there. Take a look @ the top 4 all-time @ ATP 500 level ;)

It's almost a "Who's-Who" of the tennis world!!

True, but if that were the case why travel all the way to Tokyo if he didn't want it badly??

Furthermore playing doubles also?

Djoker wanted nothing less than a singles gold & he explicitly stated that he was chasing a "Golden Slam"

It may not mean much to you but Djoker was chasing immortality this year. & that gold was a big part of his battle plan.

To be fair Djoker has a redemption card up sleeve as he'd immortalize himself with the USO crown but his antics @ Tokyo will taint his Calendar Slam achievement (which is almost befitting of the guy as he's an awesome Super-Villain).

So again, i do feel that Djoker wanted the Gold Medal real bad! But in a Bo3 tournament i feel he was more vulnerable vs a Bo5 slam event.

We already know he wants it badly. That was my initial comment in that I wish he didn't care so much about it. His team, his father, etc. was against him going to Tokyo but he's his own man and makes his own decisions.

If he won a CYGS it would be tainted by his Tokyo antics? A CYGS would not be tainted by some faux outrage created by media who are looking for any reason to write something negative, and who fabricated the whole Biles drama.

All of a sudden the olympics are the end all be all.
Surreal mind numbing stuff on here!

It’s because it’s the only thing Novak hasn’t won. It doesn’t change the picture at all. It’s a shame he didn’t win it but overall this does very little in the GOAT debate. Novak is still currently in first place unless Nadal or Federer win the next slam before him.

The haters and media needed something to cling on to. They got it at the olympics as it’s been a brutal time for them seeing Djokovic break records, hold new records, etc.

Luckily for us novak fans we aren’t damaged because no player in the history of the game has won everything. Novak is still the closest to this fact. Had Federer or Nadal won everything then the olympic gold would have greater meaning but they have more holes than Djokovic in their resume anyway.

As long as Djokovic loses, it matters. It would have happened even if it was a 250. Lol
True point. The fact is though the Olympic gold isn’t essential for Novak to try end up GOAT. As every player in the history of the game and all the greats have some big title or hole in their CV. Out of all of them Djokovic has the fewest because he has won all slams and masters at least twice and world tours 5 times. Then some smaller 500 or 250 event.

Novak has proven more than any other player he can win on all surfaces, different speed, different weather conditions, different time zones, etc.

Only Agassi has the golden super slam of winning Olympic gold, all majors and world tours. However, he has way less majors and hasn’t won all masters.

Rafa has olympic gold and all majors won but has no world tour finals and hasn’t won 3 of the 9 masters.

Then Fed still hasn’t won all the masters as missing 2 and only olympic silver.

They all missing something but Djokovic only misses 1 thing and the others miss more.

The only thing Djokovic missed is a chance to standalone again. Being the first player to win every big title in the game. Had he won Olympic gold to go with double career slam, double career masters and world tours he’d standalone as only player to win it all. He missed an immortality type chance shall we say.

He still has another chance though at the tennis holy grail in New York though.

I don't think Olympic gold is happening for Djokovic unfortunately. His best chances were in 2008 and this year. He came close in 2008 to beating Nadal but faded down the stretch. This year he was up a set and a break and again, it slipped away in the SF. I guess you really can't have it all. Not Agassi, like you said, and I don't think anyone ever won it all, not even Graf in her sport. She missed a couple of big titles like Rome. I mean winning every big title that is held every year is more than a great achievement. Olympic gold is not essential.
