Novak Djokovic is an established quitter as well

A better statistic would be the percentage of all their matches ended in retirement. Even though he may have retired a lot of matches, he has also played a lot as well so that should be taken into consideration. Djokovic has a retirement rate of about 1.7% of all his matches played.

This is a very interesting spread sheet!
On a bit of analysis, it's easy to conclude that Djokovic is somwhere in 47th place, tied with Kohlshreiber, so just above median.
Another interesting fact is that the true, undisputed NATION of QUITTERS are FRENCH, see for yourself :D
Traditional warrior nation, Japan, is in shameful 9th place.
Argentina doing pretty badly too, with Nalby saving the day.
True warrior of the tour is Fed, with over 1000 matches played and 0 retirements!

Yep. He's always been a quitter. He was even quitting matches last year during the best season of his life. It's just the way he is and is just one more thing I dont like about him.
gosh, some of you guys/gals.
he's changed. he's been so consistent for last 2 years. you don't get to YE#1 2 years in a row by quitting. I know the past, but let's realistically look what has happened in last 2 years. some of you guys have nothing better to do but to bash certain players.

like, give me a break. stupid thread. plus, what, even when he was retiring he was still #3 in the world for 4 years.

Clarky, as a Nadal fan btw, you could be really annoying with your nonsense. Rafa retired for 6 freaking months this year and back in 2009 for few months and that's legit to you but Novak is blah, blah? REALITY, LOGIC, PLEASE.

I don't even know why I joined this board. too many silly people who are just blind worshipers.

No. He has retired for a myriad of pathetic reasons like having a sore throat or being too hot. And his supposed breathing issues are totally overblown.

Yep, I agree with you!
And then he disappeared from tennis for 6 months.
Ah, wait, that was not him, that is the doping king
