We had our disagreements, but you weren't an idiot and you contributed a whole lot to the forum. You will be missed, @Hitman.This is what I posted on this thread.
OK, since so many are asking, I might as well say it. The Hitman is retiring in more ways than one, yes, I am finishing off my competitive fitness and bodybuilding lifestyle, but I will be getting engaged next year to a very wonderful lady, and probably married very soon after that. Time to start a family. I am also going to be spending a lot of time next year focusing on my new online fitness business, so I will be spending a lot time getting that off the ground, that will take a lot of effort to make it a success, but I have game plan. Unfortunately all these things mean I won't really have time to stay an active member here with all of you.
Final goodbye to all my friends here. I said it before, and I will say it again, I wouldn't change the six and half years of my life that I spent here with all of you for anything. I had a blast with all of you, if I offended anyone in any way during my time here, I apologize. And I hope you all enjoy the rest of your time here and the many upcoming tennis seasons. Be good to each other. Remember, sport is a universal language and it is meant to bring us together...My other half is calling me, it's time for The Hitman to go. Goodbye TTW.

He's probably dying for some of Deepika's special curry recipy. The thing that really was evident in today's match is how freakishly thin Novak is. Obviously he was always very thin, but at his peak, he had great muscle mass in his abs and shoulders. He looks wasted away now, not even athletic, just borderline emaciated. It's almost shocking and not in a good way.

Damn.. really don't know what to say here. I wish you all the best with your beautiful girlfriend and your business. You were one of the best posters I've ever gotten to know on this message board. I can't blame you for leaving, since I've also been playing around with the same thought for mostly career-related reasons. Goodbye, you will definitely be missed. I guess we can all comfort ourselves with the thought that no player or poster is bigger than the sport, but you're coming very close I must say.Final goodbye to all my friends here. What do you think the cause of this is ? Is it depression ? David Law said today, in his podcast, that Djokovic looked downright depressed on the court in yesterdays final. Depression can cause weight loss, no doubt. The thing that really was evident in today's match is how freakishly thin Novak is. I said a week or so ago, that I think his wife, might of had a bad affect on him. This whole "vegan" thing etc.
Look at the difference between Djokovic and the bulked up Murray.
Am I the only one who still doesn't understand why the Hitman won't post here anymore?
The thing is, that after an 18 month period of total domination, a NCYGS etc, you would expect a bit of a lull. A bit of a downturn. But this has manifested physically as well, which is troublesome. And I get the feeling that the off season is not enough time to recuperate. Andy said he will take 2 weeks off, and then he is back in training and will play Doha etc. No signs of any of that from Novak. Unbelievable stuff. In my opinion, something has gone a bit wrong in his personal life. The change to the vegan diet and the influence of Guru Pepe are probably manifestations of this. He seems a bit distracted and not as focussed as he was.
Sure, but why make a statement about it? It is almost as if this is some watershed moment for him. Not how I saw the Hitman, to be frank. He may simply have lost interest in tennis or at least in talking about it. It does sometimes happen that certain long-standing posters will decide to leave a messageboard because of loss of interest due to some change in their lives. I have seen it happen before on other messageboards.

Don't bring the guy down to your petty level. He is, and will remain, a legend.Djoko lost 'the heavyweight champion and Earth's Mightiest Warrior' title Hitman awarded him.

This thread should be pinned, in respect to the GOAT poster on this forum.
Yes, I would ask the moderators to please delete my posts at least. And my apologies to the great Hitman, who doesn't deserve this.
Murray is the Arsenal of tennis. He will find a way to waste the opportunity presented to him by his rivals' decline.I agree with hitman. Novak is simply lacking the fire since FO'16.
Why, he gave it all in FO'16 and doesn't have much left.
In 2015, he chased Roger like anything. IW, Wimbledon, US OPen, WTF he had the urge, the extra motivation to beat Roger. He lacks that now.
Whereas Murray is determined. He has become the Novak of 2015,2011 and 2016(first half). I fully expect Murray to dominate AO 2017 and Novak to have doubts.
If Novak loses Ao 2017, he's gone.
Instead of continuing your game and soiling this thread any further, I'll send you a PM.You behaviour is sickening.
Even when you pretend to care about a fellow poster and would do good, beacuse he "doesn't deserve this", you left out the post that you think is insulting undeleted.
Also, your "appeal" to the Moderators as an attempt to "be on the right side" when you could well do this (and I believe you did) yourself.
I think that it is one of those rare occasions where Hitman is wrong (about you).
I was going to delete my posts, but after the mockery you have made out of yet another situation, I will leave them for everyone to see.
Hitman is a great guy and I don't think that any of this will "taint" in any way his farewell party (I know that he may change his mind, so I am not saying a final "Goodbye").

And you're the embodiment of a weak troll eraNovak really is the embodiment of the aphorism about the one eyed being king among the blind.
Murray is the Arsenal of tennis. He will find a way to waste the opportunity presented to him by his rivals' decline.
Djokovic always said he got to the top because he believed he finally believed could beat Nadal and Federer. Now with lost belief, having obtained all 4 majors, personal issues, potential lingering injuries, he could be done at the top. He may still win another1 or 2 majors and tie Rafa but getting 18 will be out of reach. The fear factor has now transferred to Murray.
I'm reading quotes from Djokovic saying he felt he had very little chance of beating Murray (and that's a tired Murray no doubt) before the match.
That's very worrying psychology on Djokovic's part.
I know Djokovic was also recognising his own general poor form but still very worrying for him.

We're losing a good one but we have been without two of the best for a while now...where have you gone @zagor and @Nathaniel_Near, a nation turns its lonely eyes to you???
That kind of attitude and knowledge help me know what you represent, so thank you for yet another detour to your personality.
I laughed as hearthily as Nicolas Cage, when I saw your generous proposal to Hitman.
A guy who has nothing valuable to offer can be so generous at offering ****.

And you're a mother ****ing monument of that, mate.
Really?
What exactly did I offer to you or anybody else?

@Nathaniel_Near will be back just as soon as he figures out which bandwagon to join now. We're losing a good one but we have been without two of the best for a while now...where have you gone @zagor and @Nathaniel_Near, a nation turns its lonely eyes to you???![]()
Backhanded compliment right there. A "good one" ? One of the greats, who wiped the floor of both Nadal and Federer in the past 4 years. We're losing a good one but we have been without two of the best for a while now...where have you gone @zagor and @Nathaniel_Near, a nation turns its lonely eyes to you???![]()
A big pile of s**t and disrespect, that's the whole point. Are you dense?
You overestimate your ability to judge (and also forget where you are).
Some manners will do you good.

Coming from you, that's ****ing hilarious.

Drop the pretense (and the drinking).

Okay: Rusty came in made a post to Hitman offering services for free to help with an aspect of his business venture. You came in and posted an inflammatory .gif mocking him and starting an entire flame war in this thread, which wasn't even about you... Then you have the audacity to tell me that "some manners will do me good."
Pot.
Kettle.
Black.
B**ch
You're the one that should be leaving this forum, and nobody would miss you either. Not a single person wants you here.
