Novak Djokovic's best level is better than Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal - Andrew Castle

I have no clue who Andrew Castle is.. but I have thought the same thing for some time. That Djokovic's best is better than either Fed or Nadal's best.

That does not change the fact that Rafael Nadal is my all-time favorite player, and whose dynamic tennis I have enjoyed watching more than anyone else's, ever. And I want him to win everything. Go Rafa! But... he's not the greatest. Just my most favorite.

I also think that Best Rafa is better than Best Federer.

But who am I? Like Mr. Castle, just another semi-knowledgeable tennis fan.

How many more threads on this topic do we need...
As many as needed until each and every one of them Fedtãrds agree that Novak is simply better.
Novak owning everything and everyone on tour is not enough so we will have to show our vigilantism on online tennis boards to make it happen.
As they say, "Whatever it takes."

If the Dothraki cross the Narrow Sea do you plan to bore them to death?

The same guy who was getting routinely bounced off the court by Wawrinka?
Yes, exactly. His fans will keep saying that he played his absolute worst tennis in AO 2014, RG 2015 and USO 2016 (as well as in all other matches which prime Djokovic lost, including to Federer and Nadal) but I'm sure they don't really believe that.

I don’t get people with these absolute statements like big three member x’s best is better than the best of the other two. This clearly depends on surface. Does that guy whoever he is seriously believe that Novak’s best on clay is better than Nadal’s or that prime Federer wouldn’t beat prime Djokovic more often than not on any court which is remotely fast.

Nothing to really argue with him on. I thought 2010 Nadal was unreal level. Then what those two did in 2011 and 2012 was even beyond that. 2015 - current Jock has shown more skills even as he declines. Hail to the king! Kneel to the crown! Avenged seven fold his anthem now! Noice.

I hope W19 has nothing to do with this. Federer was at his best Wimbledon level almost 15 years ago. That has to be taken seriously by commentators. Djokovic has also been A LOT better than he was this year.

IMO Djokovic has the highest average level of the three, which has won him many titles. Like Wimbledon this year. He won without being at his best level. But he still was solid enough to force errors from Federer in the tiebreaks and good enough to make Federer freeze when it mattered. That said, Anderson, Haas and Donskoy has done that, too, in recent times. So Federer right now is not a measurement of anything other than how well Federer is playing in his veteran years.

Well, that's settled it then.

I could never dream of making the 3rd round of Queen's Club. Especially beating a wild card and a lucky loser to get there.

Therefore, I must bow down to the judgment of the supreme tennis deity that is Mr Andrew Castle, Esquire.

Aww but what if someone who made the 4th round of Queen's Club or heaven forbid Wimbledon once, and is also a commentator/writer disagrees with Mr. Castle's esteemed opinion?
