Novak fans: would you "sign up" for 3 more slams?

If Novak were to "only" win 3 more slams, and nothing more and nothing less, would you sign up for it? Or would you rather leave it to nature, where you gamble in that he may win a lot more, less, or even no more slams. What's the break-off point where you would "sign up" for? Of course you can choose which slams he wins. ;)

I guess this can be applied for other fan bases as well. For Fed fans: would you sign up for just one more slam and absolutely nothing else? Where would you want his last great major win to be?

Rafa: just one more? Or is it fair to say he should be winning more than just 1 more major?

Murray: would you sign up for 1 more? 2 more?

Dimi: 10 more? ;)
 
For Dimi, I'd sign up for a Slam final.

Djokovic fans should wish to leave this to nature I reckon.

I actually wouldn't sign up for an 18th for Roger but probably would sign up for another YE#1, which would likely entail at least one Slam anyway. Realistically, he'll probably achieve neither.

Novak: I'd sign up for 3. That would be an astounding number, despite what 17-obsessed non-tennis fans think.

1 FO, 1 W, and 1 USO.

RF: Can I have 18? I mean can I sign up for him LOSING 18 more slam finales? That's 18 more champagne bottles I would need to get.

Rafa: I would sign up, but Rafa would have to actually WIN one, actually play well, which isn't possible. If I could make THAT kind of leap of imagination and actually believe that he can win one more - which he can't - I'd pick AO.

Murray: I'd love Murray to win several more, but considering how hopeless he is under pressure, I would sign up for one in a jiffy, and any half-way sane Murray fan should as well.

Hopefully AO, that's the one he needs to have.

Gabashvili: Would love to see him win a slam. Guga Kuerten was ranked 66 and a complete nobody with not even a QF of any event to his name, and won FO 1997. I know, I'm grasping at straws. That was a sensation in the unpredictable 90s, now it would be the equivalent of the Pope making a porn film for Hollywood.

People who say the career slam doesn't/shouldn't matter...can't you admit that if FO was one of the 3 for Djoko that would affect this proposition greatly?

I think we Novak fans are all being too affected by greedy RF fans who think only in superlatives.

We should be humble and accept 3 more slams i.e. 13 overall. We mustn't be greedy like the Fed fans, or we risk losing our souls the way they did.

No. He is on course to equal Pete and Rafa now. And now in the distance he can see Roger. Either he gets there or dies trying. First stop, 14 slams.

I don't think so for the majority of Novak fans.My impression is that we are pretty realistic about his carieer, numbers of slams and other accomplishments, level of play, competition.
And god forbid that we ever become such envious,aforethought,disrespectful to other players which would present themselves as a threat to his success and thus game itself like some of federer fans( speaking here about radical majority in their crew).
To say that, I wouldn't sign anything at this specific moment in Novaks carieer.
 
About Nadal: No, I wouldn't take just one more. Although at the moment, he isn't playing good enough to even win a masters 1000. Still, I reckon he could grab a couple more if everything falls for him. If 14 is the final destination? Fine by me.. he's had a hell of a career :D

I don't consider myself a Djokovic fan, although I do like him. I can not imagine though that he (or his fans) would sign up for "only" three more majors. In my opinion there is much more possible for him.

I don't think even 5 is a great offer. It looks like Novak has his sights set on 18. Tipsarevic told as such recently.

Between 13-15 he is going to still be in the midst of Borg-Rafa-Pete. Why not go all out for 17 - 18 ?
 
As both a Federer and Djokovic fan:

Djokovic:
Absolutely would not sign up for "only" more. I feel Djoker has at least 5 or 6 more Grand Slams in him. He seems to be a mixture of Nadal and Federer when it comes to movement, so I feel he will not drop drastically the coming years, like Nadal for instance. And there doesn't seem to be any upcoming player who can beat him.


Federer:
I would definitely sign up for one more Grand Slam. I feel that for a long time now, Federer winning a next Grand Slam is not in his hands anymore. He has to get e bit lucky, like last years US Open (2014). The draw has to play out in a way that Djokovic and/or Wawrinka lose in the quarters and Federer is the absolute favorite for the remaining rounds. Not sure if Nadal is still in the mix and I feel that a good Federer can defeat Murray. Unfortunately, last year at US Open, Federer had his chance, but didn't take it.
 
I wouldn't sign anything for Nole. And I think if any of different fan group had the same situation with their favorite, they wouldn't either. Novak could even make 4 just in next year.
If Novak has drive and motive (and I heard from him and Becker that he does), sky is the limit.
 
Good to see that pretty much we are not signing up to anything. Djokovic knows his time is now, and he knows he could go really far. After RG 14, I didn't think he would ever catch Nadal, and certainly never get close to Federer. It was as if he had to hit his lowest point, which he did in that final, losing to Nadal. Then, Wimbledon 2014 happened and Djokovic rebounded sensationally. Now, he's at 10, Nadal and Federer unable to add to their tally, and with all the momentum and his favorite slam coming up, things could be very interesting by the end of 2016.

Risk: maybe only win 1 or 2 more Slams.

Reward: maybe become an animal.

I take it you are predicting 0-1 Slam next season for Mr.Fantastic.
 
Things can turn around very quickly. Just 15 months ago he was at 6 Majors, and the future didn't look so bright at all. His realistic range in the following years is 1 - 5 more slams. Chances to go beyond 15 are slim, but you never know.
 
I would sign up for all 4 Majors in 2016. That makes it a 6-1-4-3, 6 slams in a row, CYGS and a total of 14 titles.

It woulnd't matter if Nadal would end up with more slam titles. Djokovic would be the GOAT without discussion.

1 Slam and just because the competition is weak. If people think that a 29-year old player has another 4-5 Slams in him while playing full seasons all the time for more than 10 years are so deluded it's beyond the joke.

There is no GOAT without discussion. Federer comes as close to perfect as it gets, he's at or near the top of every major statistic and people still mention his h2h with Nadal.

Every sane person knows that if Federer and Djokovic were the same age it wouldn't be 50-50 but more like 70-30 or better for Federer. He's that much better than Djokovic.
