Novak is the Ultimate Percentage Player but has the Least Flair Amongst Big 4.

For me he has beautiful hitting (unless Drunkovic or really Offformovic) and only Fed is more aggressive than him. But he has a stunning two handed backhand to make up for that.

I agree he’s very aggressive of both wing and takes the ball early and his ability to redirect the ball is second to none. He also has terrific disguise on the backhand.

But I guess Nadal and Murray have more of an all court game, and more creative. For example Murray with his lobs and Nadal with his drop volley or banana shots.

You would be happy to root for ultimate percentage player if only Fed was capable to be one, so you are thinking these kind of names for Novak.
It is really pathetic.
No one wants to see Fed be a percentage player. That's why he has so many fans because he's a risk taker.

Risk taker you say ? :-D Just watched his AO final against Nadal, last few games. It is ridiculously funny how stiff and scared he was. If he was risk taker he wouldn't ****ing his pants in so many finals against all time greats.

Yeah the last few games where he works Nadal slapping winners everywhere lol. If Djokovic was a risk taker maybe he wouldn't lose so many finals to NON ATG :-D

Nadal wasn't doing any such thing. I didn't say Djokovic was a risk taker at all. Federer said that for Djokovic after their UO semi from 2011.

Nadal was schooled via NEO BH and congrats to Djokovic on the luckiest return in history followed by the most disgusting seek of fan love ever. Total desperation, luck, and disrespect ever on MP at UO making Federer wait to serve.

He goes to the net more often than both though.

Like this one. Thanks but we don't need compliments from you.

Federer said he wasn't watching him at that point, so he didn't care what was he doing. But go on, make fake scenarios, maybe Djokovic needed to get on his knees while Fed was serving so you would be happy and have 0 complaints.

Go ahead and justify. He should've been given a warning for it. He couldn't hide his hate though. Couldn't be a gentleman after the return. Oh no.

I am stating the facts. I agree that in your fragile world he should be hanged for gamesmanship and disrespect he showed, but in reality he went for his towel to wipe his face and that's it. Not his fault Fed needs easy opponents to thrive.

Went for his towel to wipe his face after that 2 second rally LMAO!

His strokes have the least amount of "ornamentation" of the Big 4.

But in terms of flair, he has just as much as the rest of the Big 4.

I think in some regards his game is the least "distinctive". His strokes do not have much flourish or over extension in them, so he has less room in his stroke mechanics to have the types of idiosyncrasies of personality that the other Big 4 members have.

We might be talking about a guy who has the best pure stroke mechanics ever. As close as we have come to the perfect topspin open stance forehand and attacking baseline backhand, and they are indeed very precise and compact.

He's a risk taker yeah except....when he has BP he tends to become very passive, waiting for his opponent to gift him the break especially as he got older.
When he's under pressure, he also tends to play more percentage.

Let's be real, Federer is a great risk taker when he plays his kind of match which is when he's the front runner and he's destroying the opposition like what he was doing in his prime. When things get tight, he's not the same player.

I can agree with that to an extent. He goes away from what's been working an entire match because he doesn't want to blow it looking careless. It takes guts to play the majority of a match that way though. If things don't work out, you can get blown out easily. He's just so talented that it doesn't happen.

Is this some kind of joke? Murray has less flair than most players period, let alone than Djokodalerer.

Nadal is undoubtedly the most epic of the big three, Maestro has the elegance vibe and Nole has the Ivan Drago Eastern European thing going for him.

Illusion from judging them on basic level. Djokovic has gears Federer and Nadal can't dream of. Flair rises proportionally. Silly Fedal fans.

Djokovic is a lot more than a percentage player. Out of all the Big 3, Djokovic is by far the most entertaining and thrilling to watch when he is down in a match and his back is against the wall. That's when he usually goes into "fully engaged" mode and produces his best. As for who you find more entertaining, it's your preference I guess. Fedal does not entertain anywhere me at the level that Djokovic does but that's why everyone has their own tastes and preferences.

Couldn't have put it any better. Fed"s and Nadal's stroke execution in itself already add an aesthetic quality to their games.

Flair, creativity, attacking all court tennis .. all that matters today is consistency from the baseline.

Federer is not number 3 because of his flair, it's because he's the third most consistent baseliner on tour.

Djokovic is the most consistent baseliner on tour, but please don't try to tell us he has any creativity or flair.

Nole's the Lendl of this gen. Nothing too flashy about his game but damn is he a darn good player. I was gonna say he's the Tim Duncan of tennis but then I remembered Sampras, who fits this comparison spot on

Besides power, Murray has quite a lot of flair to his game. Lobs, drop shots, passing shots, finesse etc. I remember the 2010 AO match vs Cilic and some of the shots he hit were incredible.

Flair, creativity, attacking all court tennis .. all that matters today is consistency from the baseline.
Yeah, none of it matters in the modern game at all. Djokovic probably sacrificed some flair to become the player he is, same as Murray.
