Novak's Head Graphene XT pj

PT113B1. Same mold as i.Radical MP (PT113A).
strung Weight: 359g
Strung balance: 32.8cm
SW: 370
Flex: 60RA strung
Grip: 4 3/8, custom with side bevels extended making it more rectangular. Uses two overgrips over Head Calfskin. First overgrip wrapped with no overlapping, top overgrip normal.

Lead placement all around the hoop, under the grommets then continues inside the hoop as shown on pictures.

Anything else?
My coach owns his prostock and i got to use it today because my racquet strings broke.

Unstrung specs;
335 g
310 mm
27 inches
98 sq'' (back when the speed pro was white and looked like the white version of the orange radical mp)
18 mm beam
Head FC
First overgrip with no edges
second overgrip with edges
no 3.
custom pallet/hairpin (i dont know what it is called)
lead was where previously mentioned but removed by coach later on.

How it played...
it felt plush and great at first, easy to handle and rally as well as aim for the alleys with more or less no effort.
But you have to be very fit to use it as the lead messes up the HL balance a lot.
had the radical mp feeling.
easy to use with an eastern grip.
a bit hard to find bevels because of the 2 grips.
SW was in my ballpark.
great on volleys.

havent served yet.

Your coach does not own anything similar to Novak's frame. His whole professional career he used a 22mm beam stick, 18x20, upper 50's to lower 60s flex.
During his Wilson days, the H22 was a true 98, head is closer to 95 sq in.

He did, however, test a few variations of the rackets - I did have his test Wilson that was square beam, 20mm, 98 sq in. Maybe he did test an 18mm beam too.

He never played with one, though.

Again, Novak never played with 16x19. Your coach thinks he has Novak's personal racket. Novak may have tested the 16x19, never played with it.
its quite probable as he got it as a present from one of the friendly people at the Head world tour stringers. i think his name was matt, he worked with my coach in the US before with top pros (at the time (pre 2004)).
