NTRP Tournament Rating Effect on Dynamic rating

Quick question to anyone with knowledge on the subject: If NTRP tournaments affect your dynamic rating, then how does it work if you are playing and age division tournament? If you play a tournament with levels (3.0, 3.5 etc.) it should work same as a league match, right? But if you are playing an age division tournament, you could possibly play someone WAAY out of your level (lower or higher). So does the dynamic rating algorithm have the ability to calculate for that difference?

When tournaments count, they are generally only sanctioned NTRP tournaments that do, not Open/Age.

are you saying USTA sponsored Open level tournament won't count toward dynamic rating ? Also for 2019 year end ratings, does any of the USTA matches from 2018 count or is it only based on 2019 matches ?

I think he is saying any of the aged divisions as they usually don't have NTRP next to the division). I believe it depends on the Section the tournament is played in. For example, on the boards about month ago, i saw the Southern is counting NTRP tournaments for 2019. Not sure what other sections count them and what sections don't.
