O3 problem on #13H hole

Hi,
I strung O3 White once with CyberFlash 17L @58 and saw that it broken right on hole #13H (Top) on short side, it's Cross,first hole from the top where there is no any grommets or tubing. Player said that there was not any mishit to this area, so it could be something else that cutting string.
Then same situation repeated on the same racket after some 10 hr of play with string job done by another guy.

Anybody experienced this ? I see that hole is even not big enough to insert tube in to protect string..
Hole itself look fine, smooth like all others, no cracks or anything.
Probably I can widen it with wax/owl for tube ? or ???.

Widen the hole with an awl? Crack - I would not attempt that. Try taking a piece of Teflon tubing and splitting it down the side and see if you can get it into the hole and insert the string through it.

This hole is defenetely too small to insert any teflon tubing, and how I learned it's "uniquely designed by prince this way", i.e. string is sitting in the frame hole, no any tubing or grommets, it should work this way with O-ports. Its diameter is only 1.40+_ mm.

I've checked it again and found that this hole is oriented bit upwards comparing with cross direction, that could be one of the reason, though frame came from reputable source and doesn't believe to be a fake.

I have strung hundreds of whites and have only seen a string break in that location once and it was a mishit. Are you sure the guy is not a closet shanker?

OK, here is another suggestion skip that cross and string the one below it then come back up and run that cross. This will put the pressure of the string on the opposite side of the racket for that hole. Maybe there is something in the frame causing that string to break.

Can't do that because you would be stringing across a O port.

Cyberflash is not durable. Try switching to another poly.

I find that hard to believe if the hole is only 1.4 mm.
