Of all the cars you have owned, which is your favorite?

If you are a car buff like me, you are either a person who goes through a lot of cars in a lifetime just because you are always interested in experiencing different makes/models or you are someone who has a car that is like a part of the family that will always be in the garage in some form.

My car history is as follows from age 16 to 45 with approx years owned. I don't mention all of them because some were just daily driver cars/trucks to get me around while my pleasure car was garaged. I'm the guy you see parking a dozen spots away from anyone only on a sunny day.
  • 1979 Chevrolet Vette - well, a Chevette (3 years)
  • 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS (1 year)
  • 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS (2 years)
  • 1986 Buick Regal T-Type (2 years)
  • 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS (again) (1 year)
  • 1987 Buick Grand National (1 year)
  • 1995 Ford Mustang GT (<1 year)
  • 1993 Ford Lightning (<1 year)
  • 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T (17 years)
  • 1996 Ford Mustang Mystic Cobra (<1 year)
  • 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra (again) (16 years and current)
  • 2001 Honda S2000 (current)

Anyway, the car I wish I had back was the 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T. It was such a bruiser on the street and the turbo whistle made it sound like an F14 Tomcat. It did low 12's in the quarter mile on pump gas and street tires. It got compliments every time I drove it and surprised the heck out of more than one Mustang/Camaro/whatever on the street. At least I know it is in very good hands with the current owner and is not being beaten to death. I did tell him that if it ever came time to sell to make sure he called me.

Just curious about some of your car history as well.

the Bentley Bentayga -- remarkably quick for nearly 3 tons, less ostentatious than a Rolls, wife loves it for shopping

Love Tomcats - but this bad boy whistles like no other.

As for cars, it'd have to be my first one. 86 Civic Si. Just quick enough for a 17 year old. Cheap to run, easy to drive. Big enough for Friday night at drive in but not too big to bring the guys too

By far my favorite car has been my Ion Redline. The Corvette is a project that may someday supplant the Ion.
By far my favorite motorcycle has been my SV650.

Jeep Cherokee Sport
Dodge Neon
Mitsubishi Outlander
VW Tiguan
BMW X3
Mini Countrymen All4 plug-in hybrid
and I've driven many more...

The X3 got to be the best of that list, closely followed by the Mini.
I was extremely fond of of the Cherokee, drove it to 350000 km and engine was still strong.
Loved the performance and handling of the Sabre, but nearly got killed in it...
Very good memories of the Uno, very reliable, drove it to 250000 km on the original clutch, and all over South Africa.
Loved the Tiguan for the first 5 years, then hated it for the last 2...
