He's planning a side trip across the river to the Wild West on the Kentucky side of the Ohio, where the Appalachian mob rules. I can see a new episode of "Justified" in the works, replete with initiation rites involving adult circumsision performed with Jim Beam as the sole anesthesia.

Newport, KY was a hangout for the Chicago outfit for many years. It's actually a very fun place, Covington, KY also

Yes, it was supposed to be the reunion of The Big 4 but The Humble One cared too much for dAu44's excite level and backed out rather than risk causing our guy a heart attack.

How can Cincy be the real slam without Rafa? ::(

It loses much of it's appeal without a Rafa Djok showdown. Their Wimby match was epic. It simply does not get any better than that.

We'll just have to downgrade it now, until he appears next.

OTOH I am glad, I was getting worried that my Rafa would have too many points to defend next year. Three HC titles in a row when he will be 33 or something next year.

It’s a smart move as if he plays Cincy he may get injured at USO and the surface is much faster than the open

The mafiosos' Appalachian way of out-patient care would be perhaps to slather a salve concocted from freshly-squeezed lemon & lime juice w/ a pinch of iodized salt mixed in mud from the Dead Sea?

At least there will be nothing in there to motivate a crash-and-dash burglar. That's a Sterling silver lining in a dark cloud.
