OK, so he lost in "routine" fashion to the King of Clay in the Monte Carlo QF, but I was really impressed by a few things in the match yesterday.
I hadn't actually seen him play but his style reminds me of Coria a bit. I'd love to see this guy win some titles on the clay in the coming year. I think he has the game and the confidence to do some damage on the dirt.
He had absolutely no fear in the Nadal match and went toe to toe with him in a number of rallies. He is basically a ball machine but with excellent pace on his ground strokes.
Was anyone else impressed?
