**official Dunlop M-fil 200 Club/thread**

So I got this baby for 15 bucks. Yup it was a steal. My friend bought two apdc for a hundred bucks so he was willing to let this off for 15$. Im switching from a LM Rad. This thing is so much nicer. The wieght of the thing really crushes the ball. and it is alot more arm friendly than the rad. im loving this thing

Nice find King of Swing.

What kind of grips are you guys using with your M-Fil 200s?

How does the M-Fil 200 18x20 compare to the AG200 18x20?

Anyone have any news on where to get grommets. TW got some in earlier this year, but they turned out to be the wrong size. Not good news when I had already pulled my old ones out.

Hey, can I have some reviews on this stick? My racket just got broken during a hitting session, so I'm looking to pick up a new stick. I'm looking at the m-fil 200 and the LM Radical. I got a flat forehand, 1HBH, all-courter with a super-fast swing. Help? :)

I like the M-Fil 200, but do you really want to buy a racquet where you can't get grommet sets?

Ive got both... I would deff. say the mfill 200. It feel soo much more solid than the lm rad. It pancakes much more than the lm, probably becuase of the wieght. Volleys are unbelievable, and serves are like a scapel, and to me it seems like there is more spin... idk why, but thats my feeling. So if you can handle the 12 ounces, deff give it a go and see if you like it.

I am strickly speaking in terms of the 18x20 version though. Ive never hit with the 200 plus.

i own all 3 versions of the M-Fil 200s, the 16x19, 16x19+, and 18x20s; the 18x20s are by far the best, but thats my opinion, the 16x19 is stable tho it could do with some lead, generation of spin is overall easier because if the 16x19 and it is easier to swing because of the weight, and the 16x19+ is idk how to explain it i guess, just too long for my taste so im not into that

One more member. Just received my three brand spanking new M-Fil 200 18x20s, strung two of them, and have to say that I have no idea why people are saying it's a heavy racquet. Dunlop's included spec sheet has 325g (11.4oz)/340 (12oz) unstrung/strung weights, and it feels like that. Balance point feels fine, like the 6 points promised. Swings much lighter than I expected reading the comments on this board.

Looking forward to playing with these racquets. I know they're a bit dated and no one is really talking about them, but I'm excited.

Definitely a keeper. The only stroke I had trouble with today was the forehand, and frankly that's because my 1HBH was so good that my singles partners started hitting to my weaker side. Wonderful sticks, the additional weight was much more of an advantage than disadvantage. Excellent balance. Wonderful feel. Can't understand why so many are iffy on this racquet.

Can someone make a comparison between Dunlop M-fil 200 and Dunlop 200g Muscle Weave (now again in stock)? I have read that these are two very similar racket. Is that enough?

My 2 Mfil200's are 18x20 pattern, "TourSpecifications" on the head, weigh around 12.4 oz strung, and have around a SW of just over 344 strung with PrinceTourneyNylon15 gauge strings.
Check specs for MW.

Got myself a new 200 plus today, cracking condition. First impressions are that it is perfect condition, practically fresh without being played, secondly it is quite a bit different from my 200 tours which is still my main racket, the throat is longer and reminds me initially of my Ti Radical frame I once had. Looking forward to playing with them, this is now my 4th Dunlop in my collection after my m fil 200s and 4D aerogel 200 16*19.

Played with my 200 plus today, the racket made a pinging noise every time I hit the ball, was difficult to generate much weight in the shots and had a harsh feel. I guess that with the racket played less than 5 times, with its original strings that are 12 years old, that the strings are the reason behind this. My 18*20s feel plush, unfortunately the plus felt the opposite.

Do strings lose their elasticity and make a raquet feel tinny/awful after years of standing aroound?
