p.s. okay I found a place nearby which makes Baklava and other middle-eastern delights, but the prices are exorbitant, so I'll just have to rob a bank after all in order to satisfy my cravings. I clicked Menu and the names of dishes made my mouth water. Even the names are delectable.

There are cakes/desserts and then there is baklava.

That's all I can say. Our homemade baklava would melt down even Gordon Ramsay's heart and win "Hell's Kitchen" by itself.

LOL, you would not believe how seriously underweight I am and how my condition is just getting worse. I thought it maybe IBS but now it seems more like gluten-intolerance is causing the constant problems, or maybe it is Celiac. I've known since the 80's that i had a gluten issue, but it seems to have really kicked up of late.

I really sort of envy over-weight people, or lets just say people who can eat a proper meal.

I think my running has exacerbated the situation in that it puts more load on the system. Runs under an hour don't, but whenever i go above an hour, my system goes out of order within a few hours.

It seems that gluten has already messed with the smaller intestines and reduced digestion, and then the stress of long runs messes things up further.

So while the intestines heal, I will (sadly) need to reduce the physical stress and do about 30 minutes of running only. It may take a few weeks of gluten-free diet to allow the intestines to heal.

I probably also need to go slow on dairy products while the intestines get back to normal.

It's no small coincidence Frisch's is headquartered in Cinci, home of The Real Slam.
