Have you guys played the Clash 100S?
It's completely pointless. Clash already has tons of spin on tap, and changing it to a 'spin pattern' would just make it worse.

Yes I understand. I'm not interested in the 100S, but I was just curious since I've had never heared of it before.Definitely would agree with this. Having Clash 100S seems redundant.
18x1616/15 clash?
What we need is a 20 mm 16x19 Clash 95 or 97 [emoji471]
The FLEX and feel of the Clash but in a more controllable package. THAT would be killer

Felt great. Was the most durable setup I tried. 52/50. A bit too much power for me though.Anyone try using gut/poly on the Clash 100 (non-tour)? Thoughts and experiences? String tensions? Thanks.

Doesn't Ivanisevic play with a Speed now?I've had an opportunity to play with Clash 98 made for Goran Ivanisevic. Pro stock,320g basic and 310 balance strung. RA will be known tomorrow, I hope. L4 grip.
Great stuff!
No,he is going from Ultra to Clash and back again.Doesn't Ivanisevic play with a Speed now?

More stiff than regular 98, but still flexy enough. You can hit much heavier ball , more hefty, lots of power, somehow a little bit more control. There is no matte paint. I like it more than regular, but we're gonna see tomorrow, when we put those specs from pro stock on to regular oneHow does it play?
A 310g thin beamed racquet like that would be pure junk.
Don't forget that Wilson already tried it with the Pro Staff 95. Great feeling racquet - one of Wilson's best in that regard - and superb drill pattern but pure garbage at competition level due to its floppy beam, instability, low swingweight etc.
He has been using the Ultra last year, but from what I see now on Instagram, it look like he uses Speed now...No,he is going from Ultra to Clash and back again.
Head sent him some racquets and they also sent bills for it . He was really angry and went to Wilson, they were happy that he came.
Haha it is kind of funny to think of a company as big as Head sending bills for a few racquets to a former world no. 2 who is one of the main coaches to the current world no. 1. Do you think they gave him 75% store credit when he returned them? Nothing comes for free I guess. No,he is going from Ultra to Clash and back again.

I don't know about that, but yesterday I saw 5 Ultra Pro racquets and 5 Clash 98 racquets ready for him . We're gonna see it soon, when he shows up on tournaments held by Novak Djokovic in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and I don't know where else.He has been using the Ultra last year, but from what I see now on Instagram, it look like he uses Speed now...
If your elbow hurts check your form more then your racketI am coming from the Pure Strike over to the Clash because of elbow issues I am still not fully recovered from. I am trying to decide if I should go Clash 100 or Clash 100 Tour. In studying up on arm friendly racquets I learned that heavier racquets (when comparing two) are typically more comfortable racquets. However, when looking at the TW review scorecard they give the 100 model a 90 for comfort and the Tour model an 89. I understand that is almost the same score, but I was actually anticipating the Tour model being scored as more comfortable.
My elbow is still healing but have already pretty much mentally committed towards moving to the Clash. Just need to make the final decision...Clash 100 or Clash 100 Tour. Any suggestions for me?
This thread is for any players that would like to discuss the new Wilson Clash or Wilson Clash Tour.
I just ordered mine (Tour Version) and I can’t wait to get it on the courts.

Should I get this racket or is there something similar but better on the market?
What's the opinion on lead on it, how much, where and does it play well?
Obviously very subjective. For example someone said not a lot of easy power, whereas I found it to have too much power (100 Tour). On the plus side, comfortable and very easy to swing. Can play without much effort, and good at the net. Downside for me is lack of control when hitting full swing.Should I get this racket or is there something similar but better on the market?

Nothing like it out so far afaik.Should I get this racket or is there something similar but better on the market?

I am playing with pro stock Blade and was playing with H22 before and Clash is really something new in tennis. I've never seen something like this from any other brand. In my opinion, it has too much power and that is something that can be solved by changing the string tension. Everything else on Clash is great and I do enjoy it.
AgreeYeah coming from the Blade as well ,and it indeed has a lot of power. That said, it is controllable, I think it just takes a little getting used to. As you know, the Blade lets us get away with some really flat shots sometimes that the Clash is not really built for.
Here he is with itNo,he is going from Ultra to Clash and back again.

You could copy the scheme and order a custom paint job, you’d just be missing the RG badge. It's a shame that they don't do the Clash Tour in the RG Edition. That PJ is killer!

Do you know someone in a country in Europe where they do deliver? Get it sent there and get them to send it on.I would have bought a Wislon custom already if they only delivered in my country(EU)...

Wow, that’s crazy they support the Netherlands or Portugal. Hope they start supporting more countries soon!Unfortunately no. I have friends in Cyprus, Netherlands and Portugal none of which is supported either...
I HAVE BEEN REALLY ENJOYING MY CLASH OVER THE LAST MONTH. I BOUGHT BOTH THE TOUR AND THE 100.
SEEMS LIKE IM SETTLING ON THE STANDARD. AS THE SLIGHTLY LESS HL BALANCE IS MORE SUITED TO MY SWING. BUT I CAN PLAY WITH BOTH,.
SO ONE THING I KEEP SEEING ON THESE BOARDS IS PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THE POWER. HOW HIGH IT IS ETC ETC.
BUT BELIEVE ME THIS STICK HAS LESS POWER THAN THE PA OR PD.. THOSE STICKS ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN THE CLASH.
THE CLASH SUCKS UP A LITTLE POWER ON CONTACT WITH THE BALL WHICH IS WHT MAKES IT UNIQUE. AND GIVES THAT EXTRA DWELL TIME THAT WE ARE ALL LOVING..
THE STRING PATTERN THANK G-D IS ACTUALLY A TRUE STANDARD 16X19. IT WOULD HAVE TICKED ME OFF IF IT WERE WIDE SPACED LIKE THE NEW PD AND PA
THE SOUND ON CONTACT IS LOUD. SUCH A GREAT SOUND.
AND THIS FRAME WAS CONCEIVED FOR POLY USE. IF THERE IS ANY FRAME THAT BEGS FOR POLY FULL BED THIS IS IT.
I USE CYCLONE BLACK 16G AT 52 AND ITS EXCELLENT.. I WOULD PROB GO TO 50LBS NEXT TIME.. AS 52 DOES FEEL A HAIR STIFF. BUT AGAIN.. FEELS GREAT.
SO COMPARING THIS TO A PA. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. THE PA FEELS LIKE A STIFF PIECE OF PLASTIC IN CONPARISON..
AND I PLAYED BOTH BACK TO BACK LAST WEEK.. THE FIRST MAJOR DIFFERENCE IN PLAYABILITY IS WHEN REDIRECTING PACE ON GROUNDSTROKES.
YOU CAN REALL POINT AND SHOOT WHEN REDIRECTING AND THE BALL GOES EXACTLY WHERE YOU WANT IT TO GO. THE PA CANNOT DO THAT. THE PA WILL SPRAY. YOU NEED
TO ALWAYS USE TOP SPIN TO GET ANY KIND OF CONTROL WITH THE PA. NOT SO WITH THE CLASH. IT HAS ENOUGH DWELL TIME AND FEEDBACK THAT YOU REALLY CAN JUST POINT
AND SHOOT WHEN REDIRECTING PACE. IM LOVING THE CLASH.
If you don’t like it block me. You’re up my ass like a hemorrhoid.Attention seeking with caps lock again? Turn it da fcuuck off
