Ok guys, I’m done here

Curious

Legend
Yeah, after 5.5 years I’m finally pulling the pin. I had a good time here mostly, learned a lot, wasted far too much time as well. I think this place is great if you’re retired or unemployed which I’m neither. I have many responsibilities that I’ve been neglecting, and I also have a wonderful coach when I need help. So, for me it’s only posting a match video every 6 months to keep you updated as I’m sure you’ll be wondering where I’ll eventually end up.:)
Take care guys.

Same, I've asked the mods to delete my account permanently, they will do it today. There's no reason to continue posting here (personally).
No one will miss me, but still, goodbye guys :)

You know Curious ... I think escape is your best option ... truly! In your most recent 1HBH thread ... it's like they offer you free low-vibe "drugs" ... (advice) ... and you can't help yourself from trying it all ... ... ... and even the "name-brand" stuff ... it's like you're the perfect "junkie" ... ... ... you'll believe anything enough to give it a shot.

It's either go "cold turkey" or be forever strung out.

Good luck in whatever halfway house you settle into ... at least you were willing to try hard.

I like these boards obviously, but what a low level addiction this must be, I mean drugs, sex, exercise, ice cream, I would love to see this board on an episode of the US tv series Intervention. Normally it's heroine, booze, etc, this week on Intervention... a man can't stop using the tennis message boards!

Between TT Board and My 600-lb Life I have a hard time in deciding which to let go. Heck, I'll do both. So addictive.

why do people announce they're leaving when no one cares and when they'll obviously be back. TTW i just can't quit you?

Best thing for his game will be to realize that tennis skills are not acquired online. Too many players get caught in the vortex of minutia. Ask any college level player how he learned. It will not be the tennis gibberish constantly discussed regarding ISR hyper-pronation of bi-lateral axis deflection of polar moment of the tennis ball. Stroke technique is literally the last thing holding back a 3.5 Get out there and play as many matches as you can. Film yourself. Drill your flaws. Get better.

Who was this guy?
Cola Baby? Cola B Boy? Any other ideas on what the moniker, @colabby, might have meant?

It worked. You are now deleted!
Really thought he was kidding.

He continued to joust with me, in the WTA squatting crouch thread, at length and for quite a while, after he had announced that he asked the mods to delete his account. Perhaps he was annoyed that others had different views than he did. Dunno what to make of it.

Seems like he had a lot to say even tho he was active on TT for less than 2 months (joined mid-May). Just a blip.

I think he decided to quit when he heard sound is processed faster and then saw the light.
