Old Wilson natural gut

Hi guys, I just got my hands on some very old Wilson natural gut string, like the package says copyright 2010. The string looks to be in decent shape, do you guys think the string would still be playable?

I have some stashed somewhere that I still use, it's basically made by Babolat. When Hingis came back to the tour in doubles, she had a cardboard stacked with Babolat gut that had their mid 90's logo.

As long as it was stored appropriately (dry and away from light), it's fine. No packaging is perfectly hermetic until the ends of time, so given a long time permeation can happen, but I haven't had a problem so far.

As mentioned above, as long as it is kept in decent environment. I have a great number of the older Wilson gut sets, and recently strung one up. It should be fine if kept properly.

I was had some Babolat natural gut from either late 80s or early 90s (not sure how it was stored all that time) that put in a racquet a few years ago. It strung fine, but it all snapped over night sitting in the racquets.
