I say keep the roof opened unless 100% sure that it's gonna rain...

Not sure we know 100% yet!

Anyway, I'm a neutral observer in this one, since the final includes the 2 players that I was rooting for in this specific event.

But now that the moment has finally arrived, I do have a slight hope that Fed wins this, even though it would still be AWESOME for Murray to win as well. I think the difference for me at this point, is that a win for Murray still doesn't get the REAL monkey of his back when it comes to winning an actual slam. (Plus, he has at least 1 more Olympics, where he could be a realistic contender.)

On the other hand, a win for Fed is probably more significant, since it is more likely to be his last realistic chance and he's been the most vocal out of any of the pros (going back years now), when it comes to how much a singles gold would mean to him.

Hoping for a close 5-setter, with at least 20 games in the final set :)

Fun fact - this will only be Switerland's 2nd medal of this Olympic games - they have 1 gold medal in women's triathlon.

Switzerland is always more of a factor in the Winter Olympics.
It's just because the IOC is Swiss. Otherwise Sweden would've had 2 gold medals by now.

That will be amusing to witness since they've been arguing since 2008 that Nadal's gold medal was insignificant and that the Olympics don't matter in tennis. I'd like to be the one breaking the news to Rafa that his gold medal is actually worth more than a slam all of a sudden. I'm sure he'll be pleased :) Of course if Murray happened to win, it would be back to "olympics gold is worth nothing". So I guess Rafa will be cheering for Fed
May the best man win, it' great to see these guys going out there and trying. Even at this stage in Roger's career, his love for the sport and his hardwork shows. I am fine if Murray wins this, God knows if Roger wins the gold, you *******s would be left with the h2h pretty much the only thing you will hold on to.

The Wimbledon crowd don't really follow tennis, I think they just want Andy to win seeing as he too is British, then afterwards forget all about tennis till next July.

The WTF crowd are the real fans, the wimbledon fans just a bunch of snobs who care not for tennis.

Serve is looking good. I just started this game and NBC mentioned Fed had two chances to break. How did he blow them?
