good suggestion ... thx :) ... might only be able to get it in a special sports pack ...

I may be mistaken but I think TC has been removed from the sports pack and now you can only get it if you subscribe to th second tier of programming.

turns out you're right about that! :) apparently, with the top three tiers, programming does include TC, plus "Whole-Home HD DVR" for an EXTRA $10 ATM: At least $45 per month for "210 digital channels" ... hmmmmmmmmm ... might be worth it!

Djokovic beats Nadal in toronto and cincy. Nadal then enters the Salem event and loses to Russel in the finals.
In the USO Nadal chrashes out in the 3rd round.

Aug. 4-7: Legg Mason Tennis Classic (ATP) Del Potro
That would be incredible. Winning without participating is worth more than any slam.

Delpo is playing Los Angeles instead. ;) Better to take the week off before the two masters.

good ... Delpo's scheduling smarter than he did in 2008, the year he won both Los Angeles and Washington, but then only made it to the quarters in the USOpen.

Then, in 2009 he didn't play Los Angeles but did play a sweltering Washington, then lost the Montreal Rogers Cup Final to Murray before going on to win the USOpen.

Sooooooooo ... which of the two masters is Delpo planning to skip this year? Montreal or Cincinnati? (I'm guessing he won't want to miss playing in front of his Canadian fans)

In 2009 he made the final of Washington and Canada, playing a third tournament in a row (Cinci) in the hot sun would always have been a bad idea. If he skips Washington, he might be able to play both masters this time. Obviously, if he is feeling tired after Canada, he will withdraw from Cinci, but I'm thinking he is skipping Washington this year so he can play both masters for the big points.

With his lowish seeding, who know what kind of draw he will get in Canada. If he goes out early, he has a second chance for some points in Cinci.

Yep Directv gives you Tennis Channel.

It think they might be like one of the only cable/satellite providers that gives you TC without making you have to purchase an additional package to receive it. I know AT&T doesn't give you TC with their standard package, you have to buy it. I'm pretty sure it's the same with Comcast too.

Nice troll, but I know for a fact he's only going to play in the Rogers Masters Cup, Western/Southern Open and the US Open.

It's no decision at all! DirectTV is the only provider that offers a choice of 5 courts during the 4 Grand Slams.

Yes. DirecTV has Tennis Channel automatically with their choice (or choice plus) package. You will also get the six channel Grand Slam coverage, which IMO, puts it ahead of Dish.
