Omega is used to indicate someone is last at something..
https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Omega_Beams
"Darkseid gets his power from an energy called the Omega Effect. This energy allows him to emit Omega Beams which are powerful bio-electric energy beams that can be concentrated, and fired from his eyes which can lock into a target to ensure it never misses and disintegrate a selected target.

I love this Omega Beam analogy because sometimes, Sinner's shots have a surrealistic trajectory . You think the ball will be out by meters but it somehow lands inside the court. It gives the impression that he plays on a completely different dimension. In that sense, he's reminescent of Rafa Nadal with his impossible banana shots.

Interesting hold for Sinner from 0-30. Let's see if he can get a break.

This is the one match-up I've been waiting for all year. It pains me to root against Aslan, but Sinner is mah winner.
Karatsev is one of the stories of the year, so I understand why people are so excited, although at his age it would be highly unusual for him to stay so prominent. If he does, I think many people will be fans because he's pretty much finally succeeded without the usual perks.

As for Sinner, I'm more behind him for the concept than for his game so far. In other words, I'm so hungry for someone to end the reign of the Big 3.

Beautiful tennis from Aslan. He deserves the second set and perhaps the game. He's more clutch than Jannik right now.

Big ground game and effortless power (Sinner). Sometimes jams himself on the run and (predictably) must work on his volleys. Also feel his serve should be quite a bit better than it currently is. But he's in a good place and rising pretty quickly and he thinks the game very well I'd say. There's a lot to like about his mentality and maturity at this early stage - emotionally, tactically.

Aslan's tennis is serious sauce tho and he just bossed much of that second set. That AO form might well carry through and see him become a top-15er by the end of the year. If he flashes for a few months or can become a mainstay top-ish player is another matter.

I still can’t digest that an unknown 27 years old guy suddenly appears and starts playing like a top 10. Very odd case.

More like #20-25. Too inconsistent compared to top tenners.

This is more common these days although 27 is a bit late. For example, Krajinovic broke through also with a big result - making the final of 2017 Paris Masters - when he was 25 and a half, and has been a tour regular since. For a more gradual but still quite fast ascension, RBA went from a low-level ATP journeyman ranked around #70 to a top 20 player in 2014 when he was 25-26.

No reaction from Sinner after breaking back. He's mad.
... and 0-30. :D

He’s definitely a very slow starter, probably running on diesel :D
