Hmm, don't see the all white version out. Is that a kids only colorway?

Aren’t these more of a lifestyle shoe than an on court shoe?
I have a pair of the Roger advantage and it seemed like On had about 3 different lifestyle tennis shoes in the Roger collection and only the Pro was for on court use.
These strike me more as "all day" shoes that can also be used for playing Pickleball. Or mowing the grass.

Yeah, going to need convincing that these are suitable for non-duffer level tennis. These strike me more as "all day" shoes that can also be used for playing Pickleball. Or mowing the grass.
please let us know what the results/feedback are!Mine are arriving Friday. So, I’ll have a 2-hour practice in them on Saturday or maybe even additional 2 hours on Friday!

Very interested in this aspect! Is it Saturday yet?3) hope that the sole durability improved
On the truck to be delivered today, hopefully before I head out to the court so I get an initial impression today and a little more tomorrowVery interested in this aspect! Is it Saturday yet?
Thanks for the initial review. Looking forward to the on-court feedback. The shoes arrived, kudos to ON for fast, on-time delivery. Last time, the whole process felt very random. Here is an initial impression walking around the house and comparing them to the Original Roger Pro:
1) The fit is true to size (same as the Roger Pro) lengthwise, however, they feel wider in all areas than the Pro. One of my issues with Roger Pro was that the plastic stability piece was cutting into my pinky toe and causing blisters. These feel wider and looser up front. Not only that, they do not have that plastic collar all around the front and that may affect the stability, along with #3 below?
2) These are lighter than the Roger Pro
3) These look, feel and sit higher. The Roger Pro has that Vapor 9.5 low to the ground vibe, these do not.
4) Associated with #3, these feel much more comfortable and much more padded/bouncier sole (same kind of Heel to toe drop as the Roger Pros)
5) These have thin tongue but not super thin, just right, I would say
I will take them to the court today (and tomorrow, before heading out of town). My expectation is that the stability of these will not be on par with the Roger Pros, but I may be surprised. Will update tomorrow afternoon!
Is this one of the cases where if you took the insoles from the Pros, then the insoles from the Clubhouse Pro, and then overlaid them on top of each other, they will be identical? Because if they are identical, that means despite the footbed being the same, the perception of width would be due to the uppers being more forgiving. If the insoles are different though, then we can be sure that the shoes are actually made using a different last.feel wider in all areas than the Pro
I don’t have the pros any more. Good point. The front definitely feels roomier but not sure if they are wider, they definitely feel roomierIs this one of the cases where if you took the insoles from the Pros, then the insoles from the Clubhouse Pro, and then overlaid them on top of each other, they will be identical? Not sure if you still have the Pros though.
really encouraged by your thoughts on the cushioning, I think that was a big omission from the initial roger pro
The softest and most comfortable
Shoes I have worn on the court. I still cannot determine if that is good or bad at this point. I do not trust them to run full speed, they are roomy, so I had to tighten them up a few times, however, they have a great energy return and bounce and feels like I have nothing on my feet.
The fun continues!
There is no break in, I’d say.really encouraged by your thoughts on the cushioning, I think that was a big omission from the initial roger pro
keep us posted how they age/break-in over the next few hits
There is no break in, I’d say.
My concern is that they are roomy and my feet are not skinny, but the length is perfect fit for me.
And my concern is that they are just too soft, almost “mushy” but I am still getting used to them. A few real runs after the ball feel secure although I wish they had the runner knot holes to secure them more.
The Roger Pro is comparable as it sits low, it is “stiff” like 9.5 (but more comfortable than the 9.5), stable and the fit is the same.Sir,
Is there any pros that compare to vapor tour 9.5?

The clubhouse Pro is not after the 9.5 users.
Today, I will focus on the foot security (though I put thicker socks on), any real foot slippage and stability of the shoes.
I’ll go a bit more aggressive today. Off to the court and will update in about 2.5 hours
So, still undecided. They are better with thicker (or two pairs of regular socks) and as tight as possible. The way you’re describing these almost makes them sound like the old Babolat SFX? Very wide shoe that to me felt almost sloppy/mushy, super comfy but not very supportive? These are available locally and the wide aspect intrigues me (in your pic it seems there is not the annoying inflare at the sides but a rounded toe box) but grinding on clay you still need some rigidity/security. I wonder if a replacement insole would help with your sense of rigidity/security or if it’s just that the sides spill over. So, still undecided. The foot feels secure enough but not enough to attempt a slide that I feel comfortable doing on HC with my Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour or GR9.
The (in)sole is just soooo cushioned and soft that I don’t believe is designed for sliding.
Unless thicker socks and laced tightly, I’d be cautious with the foot slipping. Today, I feel more secure, but yesterday (new and with thinner socks) was not secure.
I have another 45 min to go so, I’ll update
I think the insole is no different than standard shoes but that rubber under is super soft. The way you’re describing these almost makes them sound like the old Babolat SFX? Sounds like a coaching shoe du jour.I think the insole is no different than standard shoes but that rubber under is super soft.
After 2 sessions and 4 hours, I’d say:
- the fit (length) is great
- the width (fore foot, mid foot) is wide
- the heel area fits great and keeps the heel secured
- wearing thick socks and lacing really tight helps but still had some foot movement and I did not think lateral stability and security is on par with the top shoes
- the comfort is amazing, most comfortable shoes tennis shoes I tried. Too comfortable for tennis court. I’d wear them all day long at Disney but would not take them out to a match. They are great for practice and casual hitting. I did some runs, and stops today but would not attempt to do a slide on HC or even quick stop and turn around…
Will probably take them to China with me next week for 16 hour plane ride and playing over there…
- the lacing is great but would be great to have runners knot holes to make it more secure.
- the breathability is exceptional
I definitely did not like the Roger Pros - they were lifeless (no energy return), decent comfort but that plastic collar on the sides killed my feet. And at $200, they were most overrated shoes on the market. Of course, abysmal bottom sole durability added to it.
I am curious to see how durable these are
