Definitely looks like a takedown model. Interesting though that it has the cloud cushioning system in the heel. Do you know how much it costs?Cheaper than the Roger Pros. Is it a takedown?

200 CAD. So around 150 USD
I hope they made the last less wide, or at least offer multiple width options. I feel like the first model was built off of Roger's foot, and he seems to have a really wide forefoot.I believe that is the takedown version from the new The Roger Pro 2. I've seen them both in prototype forms but haven't worn them. I think we'll see the new Roger Pro 2 around Indian Wells time if not before. Very similar to the first one. In this instance the take down version will actually last a lot longer as it should have traditional herringbone on the bottoms.
Vapor 8 is an interesting choice given that Roger never fully committed to it and that I don’t recall being as popular as the Vapor 6 or 9 modelsI'm trying to recall. But I believe the clubhouse pro is basically the ON Roger Spin upper on a traditional tennis outsole. Meant for high level rec play, but nothing super serious. The new Roger Pro is supposed to be similar to the previous Nike Vapor 8.
I was told that the production models are both going to be quite wide in the toe box and forefoot. This is based off my meeting with an ON rep.

Based on the upper present on Shelton’s I’d say it looks based on the 6I'm probably wrong then on what model it was. I'm not a big Nike guy. But the rep definitely said it was based off Rogers favorite iteration of the vapor, an earlier model.
Hard to see this sole good for clay with that big cavity in the midfoot. It looks like it is going to collect half a pound of dirt each time one slides on the court. It has a bit of 90s look. But lets talk about when they are available. May be the Cloud Tec makes this softer in comparison to the harsh Pro and if the stability is the same why do not take this? Sole looks good for clay.
I like the look of this one, very similar to the original. But at $150 it’s a bit too steep When you can get the top of the line of most brands for that price. :/White version of The Roger Clubhouse Pro

Yes please
They are a bit like a formula 1 car. Very comfy for the relatively low amount of cushioning it has. Great grip/slide balance. Light. Amazing court feel...So are these actually worth it? For the price are they actually premium and appreciably better than other shoes?
Digging the new clay court colorway, and mostly play on clay, but really trying to talk myself out of it. (Someone help)
At least, since I'm on clay, durability probably is a bit better than hard court. They are a bit like a formula 1 car. Very comfy for the relatively low amount of cushioning it has. Great grip/slide balance. Light. Amazing court feel...
All at the cost of price and durability.
This would be an ideal match day shoe but practice in something less pricey. Tough to beat the performance but that level of performance is unattainable by a large number of recreational players. Or you can just cough up because we like Fed![]()
Buy them and try them on!At least, since I'm on clay, durability probably is a bit better than hard court.
The width worries me, I don't really have wide feet and obviously people purport they're designed for Fed and, ergo, wide because his feet are.
This is the opposite of the help I was looking forBuy them and try them on!
Shoes are all different and personal gotta put them on your feet! This is the opposite of the help I was looking for![]()
For sure additional 20-50$ over something like FF3/GR9 is not reasonable. So are these actually worth it? For the price are they actually premium and appreciably better than other shoes?

No disagreement at all.Shoes are all different and personal gotta put them on your feet!
I thought it was weird that the shoes Iga and Ben wear are clearly not the new clubhouse model. They wear the model that looks like the pink/orange ones on the bottom row. I reached out to ON and surprisingly they told me I should “be on the lookout in May”. Could these be the Roger Pro 2? If so, I might save my money and wait a bitSeeing all the models and colorways....
